[Denied]Change GameCorner payouts

As you all know, GameCorner is boring to farm.

Let's face it: The only thing you want to see after you mash Z three times, is the triple 7. Triple R is alright, but if it's not a triple 7, it's not worth getting happy for.

And this is the issue with the GameCorner. 777 is somewhat rare, and it doesn't happen all the time. I do realize you doubled the payout regarding the original games, but the problem is still there: if it's not a 777, it's not worth it.

I propose a solution:

Remove the Cherry prizes: 4-12 coins is not worth the wait time we get when receiving the prize. It's just lost time that could be used to roll more. This also happens so often that it gets somewhat frustrating. Needs to go, it's only wasting time.

Bump the prize on other rewards besides RRR and 777: Triple Pikachu and Psyduck are cool, and don't happen as often. Maybe make them a bit more rare if needed, and bump their reward to 50-100.
Same for Shelders and Magnemites, bump their reward to 30-50.

What these changes do in the end, is make GC more profitable, removing the annoying prizes that are gone in 2-3 rolls anyway, and make stuff that isn't 777 actually worth looking at.

Conclusion: GC will still be a needed part of the game, especially for competitive players that want the best pokemon, but won't be as frustrating or force long uses. Also disencourages bots, since people don't want to risk their accounts for something they could do themselves in maybe 30mins-1hour gameplay, which is still kind of a lot for something such as the gamecorner.

TL;DR: remove the cherry prizes, bump all other prizes to be at least decent when compared to RRR or 777 and improve the way people look at GC

They should just make it so you can buy the TMs like in the real games, but the admins want to reward the kids that spend the most amount of time on the game, rather than the best players.. I'd much rather farm money by you know....ACTUALLY PLAYING POKEMON than "farming" some virtual slot bullshit that should never have been in the game in the first place. Theres a reason the GC TMs have the highest value on the trade market(aside from maybe EQ which requires you to play through the entire game). NOONE likes the game corner.

And if you say different that you do enjoy the game corner, then feel free to PM me and farm some TMs for me. Your reward will be playing the Gamecorner since you like it so much.

Cherrys are often the difference between gaining coins or losing coins for me, I do not agree that they should be removed. I think the pause for payouts should be lessened though, especially for 777's.

You do have to understand that the GC is part of the game, something that the devs took time to develop, and they want you to use it, not just buy all the coins and skip through it.

The point of this suggestion is not to kill the GC. It's to make the required farm shorter. I feel like the GC is still interesting and it's okay if they want us to farm it. I just don't feel like it is okay to have to farm the same content for hours to get a small reward compared to the effort, and if you think about it, that's what makes people want to use bots or skip the GC at all.

If we got those suggestions implemented, you'd be getting a lot more coins from other rewards, and you wouldn't even notice the cherries weren't there.

I'm just waiting for the CM/moderator to come in here and cry about people wanting everything in the game handed to them. No we don't. We just don't want to play some shitty fucking irrelevant mini game that has nothing to do with pokemon for hours to get a single TM(which are essential for competitive move sets .

It would also devalue all of the time I have put into those games, that is a really shitty thing to think about. Its like if they made catching good iv/nature pokemon significantly easier, the people that have already put the time and effort into it would feel really fucking ripped off.

Honestly, the fact that I'd have to spend 20 hours pressing the Z button to remain competitive is the main reason I don't play PokeMMO anymore (well, that and the fact that my internet is practically powered by a hand crank). There's only so much carpal tunnel I'm willing to endure for the sake of something ostensibly "fun."

EVing and IV searching may be 'grinding,' but at least it's playing Pokemon, which is, y'know, what I came here to do.

As for Munya and the others who have already put in their time at the GC, I have total respect and sympathy. You have way more balls and/or autism than me. But I beg of you, don't put the rest of us through a punishment befitting a Greek myth just because you've already suffered it.

I am either way, slots was a part of pokemon if you played it or not. I can then use that as valuable trading items if I so chose which is also a rather large part of pokemon.

1 cherry in a corner pays 4 coins.

While you get a miserable 4 coin reward, you could've rolled at least 3 more times. I'd rather get nothing at all instead of those miserable 4 coins.

Face it, if you're not getting 777's, you're not making coins at all. That's the problem with the GC right now. And even with these changes, it's still going to take hours to farm TM's and pokemon, don't worry.
