Group Stage Teams will be divided into four groups, with only one advancing from each group. In case of a tiebreak between teams in a group, the following tie-break rules are in place: 1. A direct match result between those two teams 2. a higher position during the yearly TT decides if more teams are in the tie-break. After the group stage, matches continue to the knock-out stage: 1A vs 1D 1B vs 1C And then match for 3rd place. Once match is called, team has 10 minutes to show up. If FIVE players will be lined up, we will consider the team ready and announce the start of a match. - If a team will then suddenly shift players, its dq for said matches - If 10 minutes will pass and team will not be present fully, it's DQ for missing players 3. Format The format is 5x5 players, representing all tiers: OU, UU, NU, Doubles +2nd UU - #1 spot choice. 4. Players Spoiler Spoiler Only players who represented a team during the yearly TT can represent them during the Cup of the Year. This includes: Players who were registered before November: - Any player who played at least once for a team - any player that was registered at least 3 times. New players NOT registered before November: Nov-Dec - a player who played twice for the team - a player that was registered twice and played at least once Next year we will do just flat yearly requirement I think. 5. Vanity Vanities will be given to the players, who are registered for the team. Only 30 players can be registered. 6. Standard TT rules apply. January 13Jan 13 Author Registration for teams 1-16 is open now. Just like in standard TT, make a reservation before Friday, time of TT. I will check players and contact them in case of any problems. Please note that after 1st match of your group ends, the second one will start almost immediately as soon as possible. We will draw groups on Friday, using randomizer.
