A few days before the Lunar New Year event, I found myself wondering which Poké Balls I should stack up on for the event. While searching for a Capture Chance Calculator, I found some like DragonflyCave, but they weren’t really suited for PokeMMO. Caav had also made one that worked properly, but I found it a bit clunky and not as user-friendly, since it required manual input for every multiplier. So I thought, "Why not make one myself?" Live Search: Type in a Pokémon’s name and watch as the list filters in real-time, making it easy to find the Pokémon you need. Catch Rate Calculation: Automatically calculates the capture chance based on Pokémon data, including level, HP, and status conditions. Alpha Pokémon Support: If the selected Pokémon has an Alpha variant, you can switch to its custom catch rate with a red aura effect. Poké Ball Selector: Choose the Poké Ball you want to use, with multipliers depending on factors like type or fishing conditions. HP & Level Input: Adjust the Pokémon's HP and level, or use the 1 HP mode to check the catch chance under specific conditions. Status Conditions: Apply status conditions (like Sleep or Paralyze) to influence the catch chance dynamically. Type Selector: Input a Pokémon's name or select from the type images to choose up to 2 types. The types will be displayed, and you can manually adjust them if needed. Attacking & Defending Coverage: You can now see how the selected types perform in battle. Attacking Coverage: Check how effective various moves are against different types. Defending Coverage: Learn how vulnerable a Pokémon is to attacks based on its types. Dual Typing Support: If a Pokémon has two types, you can check the combined effectiveness of both. Interactive Type Chart: Explore a visual type chart displaying damage rates between different types. Hover over the chart to highlight the relevant row and column. Flip Typing Button: Invert the type effectiveness! Teased way back in the first post, it’s finally here to level up your PokeMMO game! 🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE: 🚨 If you’ve used PokeMMO Help in the past 2 weeks and don’t see the new Pokémon Search page, please clear your browser cache for this website. I’ve switched hosts from Vercel to Netlify to improve performance, but this might cause old versions to stick around until you refresh your cache. You will also need to do this on mobile and add a new PWA after. Thanks for your patience! 🔹 What’s New? Move Search: Add up to 4 moves with live search—type a move (like "High Jump Kick") and get color-coded suggestions by type to pick from. Stat Precision: Filter by base stats (HP, Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, Speed) with "More than," "Equal to," or "Less than" conditions, plus values from 0-300—all in a slick, unified dropdown-input combo. Ability & Alpha: Search by ability (e.g., "Levitate") with a fast text input, plus an Alpha checkbox to include those special variants. Type Control: Select types with a visual picker—choose "At least one," "Exactly," or "Only" these types to narrow your results. Search and Table Filters: Hit "Search" to get a table of matches—Pokémon icons, names, all abilities (stacked), type icons, and base stats. Sort any column (ID, name, stats) up or down with a click.
