Pokemon- NOT regions- after gen 5 (Will never happen but I still want to share haha)

So before I start I just want to say that this game is amazing. I revisited it after years of not playing, due to me choosing Unova as my starting region and being unable to defeat Cheren on Route 4. As of now I have completed two regions and am working on my 3rd (still have yet to go back to Unova Lol.) This game does so many things right- having pokemon appear in the wild when in the "official" games they're only available as gifts, adding trainers to areas where there were none, a fantastic marketplace to get virtually anything you need, and much more.

 

Now, what I do wish was added was: all the pokemon after gen 5. I personally don't care about adding the newer regions, I never expected that due to the transition to 3D after gen 5. What I would have liked to see was just all those mons being added to the current regions, as 2D gen 5-style models. Sprinkle them all over the existing routes/towns/places of interest... which would probably be annoying cause whatever the percentage rates of pokemon appearing are currently would need to be revamped (among other things I'm sure, like the addition of the fairy typing.)

 

So- do I expect it to happen, no. This has been suggested multiple times and denied, for obvious reasons. It's just I usually see it WITH the addition of the newer regions also, so I wanted to share my idea of adding new mons sans the regions. Just something I wanted to throw out there and get off my chest Lol.
