Posted April 1Apr 1 Popular Post I know this might seem crazy at first but bear with me: It all started when I was going to get some Leppa Berries from my supplier. As usual, I arrived in Slateport city expecting our regular exchange, only to witness something shocking. My supplier was being robbed! in broad daylight! A group of thieves ganged up on him, rendered him helpless and took all he had. The last thing I remember hearing is "Lavaridge Looters" as I ran to the Slateport Police Department's office for help. Out of breath and shaken, I explained the situation to the officers, who listened intently. Their expressions grew serious as they realized this was no singular incident. They showed me a Newspaper report of an incident that happened recently that could be linked together with what I have witnessed: Since I had worked as a detective before, I told them that I could help with finding out what this is really about. This marked the beginning of my investigation working together with the Slateport PD. My plan was to find out where the looters escaped to after their robbery, since they left behind a trail of dropped items and footprints on the path. We carefully followed the trail and it lead to Lavaridge town as expected, we discovered that they seem to have some sort of "Hideout" deep within. The next step was to set up hidden surveillance and collect any evidence we can we and wait for 7 days. Our big breakthrough came as we managed to collect footage of a secret meeting. The video revealed what appeared to be 4 people of power gathered in one place to possibly discuss partnership or other plans. It became clear that the "Lavaridge Looters" were just one part of a larger network of criminals in Hoenn. So we spent the following days carefully dissecting and analyzing the Audio gathered by the footage. This detailed examination allowed us to map out the key players and their roles within the criminal network. "Lavaridge Looters" "Mauville Mafia" "Slateport Smugglers" "Petalburg Pack Pushers" "Rustboro Rascals" All these groups play a role in a bigger cime-scheme, I call it "Big Leppa" which is effectively the biggest Monopoly in Hoenn. By identifying code words and cross-referencing them with known information, we were able to pinpoint the locations of their hideouts and the flow of goods and money. We have meticulously mapped this out on a pinboard. It seems theres a group of powerful individuals from central Hoenn, we'll call them the Mauville Mafia. Their Plan appears to be gaining total control of the Leppa market in Hoenn. They buy large amounts of leppas for a huge discount from smugglers every month, the supply is suspected to come from Unovas most dangerous gang the "Castelia Crips" Anyways the Supply then gets delivered to Petalburg trough the Dewford Canal, where underpaid goons do all the dirty work for the mafia and sell the Leppas to shiny hunters. As if this wasnt bad enough, they clean the dirty money in Rustboro and funnel it back to the Mafias headquarters, paying taxes to no one except to the criminal groups that helped them to make sure they keep helping them. To finally help set an end to this, I provided the Slateport PD with a board full of evidence and the names of the Prime Suspects: If you've had any interactions with an Individual that goes by @CrudMud or @Juanks please contact slateport PD. From here I will leave it up to the Slateport Police Department to dismantle these Criminals, but I have decided to publish my investigation to spread awareness to the people of hoenn, and to open this discussion to them. Dear citizens of Hoenn, you might ask yourselves: Does Big Leppa have more power over Hoenn than the police? Is this the end of Private Leppa retail as we know it? How many people have been affected by this? Whatever the answers may be I can assure you I wont be stepping foot in Hoenn for a while. Thank you for reading.
April 2Apr 2 The darkened room is filled with cigar smoke. Since we locked Giovanni up, the Saffron factory has strangely stopped making them - I save them for special occasions. Today is that day. We have another clue, another puzzle piece; I need to think. The headquarters sent me to Hoenn to check the detective agency's activities. Reports of criminal activity were too regular to ignore. But my first impressions of the place differed; I was greeted by a warm, if slightly crazy, region and the only crime incident was an old man whose Wingull was stolen. Yet something was in the air, and it was not the ash from the Lavaridge volcano. The detectives who started this case may have been right. Of course, I've followed their lead. They might've missed something, and as we joked with my old partner, two ursas are better than one, even if their payday doesn't double. Yet I found nothing, and the locals were silent, refusing even to look me in the eye when I asked anything related to Big Leppa. Former Lavaridge sheriff outright refused to help, saying he has fought this war for decades and his Camerupt is tired of losing it. I couldn't help but notice his team Magma tattoo on the forearm, but I said nothing. I tried to check even the smallest leads, desperate for anything new. Upon hearing that Crudmud seems to have one of those fashionable fishes, I went to a usual gathering of fishermen to check up on any clue. I don't know if it was the rain or the rumor of MMO PD appearing spread too quickly, but the place was empty. Even if I could swear, I was being watched. For weeks, I had been searching for a clue that could help find more members of "Big Leppa". I wasn't too surprised when the attacks started, and groups of Grunts were tormenting their mightyens in suicidal attacks on my police Ursaluna. This part of the job gets pretty repetitive after a while and makes me miss my partner. She used to sing, "I love grind," when defending all those low-effort criminals. I hummed it to myself as I watched grunts hug their fainted pokemons. I also made mistakes, silly me. You would've thought after all those years in the department, I would've been more careful. Yet I saw the signs around and ignored them... now I see it. Mystery box that some boy trainer gave me in Rustboro- I should've noticed sooner that I haven't seen one of those in ages, ever since we fixed the addiction crisis in Team Rocket casino years ago. Some small similarities to old cases that I long forgot, with files covered in dust. But no... for me, it was a standard job until I discovered something that made my last string of hair turn grey. In Lilycove, on the door of the Contest Hall, a note was left that made even Ursaluna flinch. ": )" : ) Let's... hope the other detectives are safe.
April 4Apr 4 NOOOOO i just got mugged by a buncha big leppa goons and they stole my super legit organic, non gmo, leppas and my super legit free range charmander eggs. I bet they're gonna pump em with chemicals to make em nice and big before selling them to unsuspecting customers as "organic leppas". Organic leppa customers of pokemmo we must stay vigilant. Only buy your organic leppas from certified organic leppa sellers and do not - under any circumstances - buy any "organic" leppas from shady figures inside suspicious alleyways. On that note if you need any super legit organic leppas for 2.5k a piece friend request properpikachu in game for the freshest, most organic, small farm raised leppas of your life.
