June 9Jun 9 Author Rulebook: Other QualifiersHere we will list the format for the Qualification Tournaments, however, only the ones not Under Intercontinental Cup's direct organisation.BPL 2025-26 (Official Name: Livetour Agency Brasil Premier League 2025-26 - Rumo a Copa Intercontinental)The tournament, lasting the spam of 11 weeks, is split in 3 stages:1st Stage: Qualification TournamentThe players that sign up will be split in 8 groups, and they have to play once vs each player, in a 3-series Matchday(Will play the opponent in 3 consecutive matches). All games must be played within 3 weeks, else it's Double Walkover. The order don't matter. Each one of the 3 matches played in the series is individually worth a point. The 8 group leaders will qualify for the Serie B, advancing to the Second Stage. If needed, the 2nd places with the best record will qualify as well. There is spot for lower divisions.Note: The following players when signing up will not be placed on Qualifiers, instead, because of their performance on the 2024-25 Season that happened in January, they'll be automatically moved to the second stage and be assigned in a division:To Serie A(1st Division):1st - [ÄØD] Claudiomirx 2nd - [CLGD] Leogmine 3rd - [CLGD] CaioXLive4th - [CLGD] GDSZOMELHOR 5th - [ÄØD] Jhessicax 6th - [ÄØD] Corcelli 7th - [CLGD] Samueldinizz 8th - [ÄVL] Soladordebola 9th - [ØRG] LegendUhiko 10th - [CRØS] Lordicaro 11th - [CRØS] Vmarcovin 12th - [WIS] Igorspell 13th - [CLGD] Kacaio 14th - [CRØS] Cavaleirojedi 15th - [ÄØD] Virguingod 16th - [Läb] SPIGZINTo Serie B(2nd Division):*Note: They qualify for Serie A, should one of the qualified not signup this year. Else, they will play the Serie B.17th - [ØRG] Aqualitz 18th - [CRØS] Taspiok 19th - [ÄØD] Packlord 20th - [DKR] VtoDarkTrainer 21st - [ÄØD] TaylerEZ 22nd - [ÄØD] VulgoBahyas 23rd - [ÄØD] ShisoFaki 24th - [CRØS] ERRONexeReserve List - Should any of the above players in Serie B not signup for the 2025-26 season, or be promoted to Serie A because of someone there not signing up, the following ones takes the spot in the Serie B. If there's none available, extra spots are open via Qualifiers. If all 24 sign up, the players there go to qualification.25th - [CLGD] IanRr2nd Stage - League Phase:All 16 players on a League will be divided into 2 groups of 8. They'll play one 3-match series against each one of the players in the same group. Top 2 will advance to the Division Knockouts, and in the Lower Divisions those who advance are promoted.7th and 8th in the Group are relegated. On Serie A only: 3rd place in each group is secured on the Intercontinental Cup.3rd Stage - Final FourThe players qualified will face Semifinals, 3rd Place Matches and Finals on their divisions. All matches of the Final Four are on the Same day. The winner of the Serie A is crowned Brazilian Champion. On Serie A: Both Finalists and the Third Place winner are in the Intercontinental Cup. 4th Place is going to the Intercontinental Playoffs. On Serie B: The Champion is awarded a Intercontinental Playoffs spot.Special Considerations and Rules:All players will start with 3 lives on the tournament. Those lives are not related to the ones from the Intercontinental Cup's opening stage. They lose a Life each time they receive a Walkover. If they run out of lives, they are disqualified. If before the second stage: They lose their spot in any division which is given to the next player eligible. During the second stage, they are relegated and their games voided. If qualified to the Intercontinental Cup, by any means, they lose their spot. The players below are with an Active Fine and are penalized, unable to qualify to Serie A or B and by consequence, to the Intercontinental Cup. The Intercontinental Cup, however, decided that the players can be released from the second penalty paying double the fine:- Heppaistos - 200k for leading a Boycott in the 2024-25 Season- [ÄVL] Homibunito, [ÄVL] Opadead, [ÄVL] Harunoteku, [ÄVL] Sidineigtadois and [ÄVL] Greylord took 150k fine for the Boycott. They got less of a fine than Heppaistos because they took part on it, not leaded it.- Vinizerawkz - 400k for signing up 3 players without informing them, and removing them mid tournament without them playing a single game, showing complete disrespect to the tournament¹. Additionally, without being in the tournament anymore, decided to trashtalk in the chat, but exceeded the limits way too much².¹Their team, [SYBR]thesoulsociety , got 500k of fine originally for that reason, however the Intercontinental Cup forced to drop it to 100k. They got no additional sanctions whatsoever.²Got lucky on that, because if he went a bit more far with what he had talked, the Intercontinental Cup would've authorised a ban on him for the BPL, and issued a ban on him from the Intercontinental Cup.The league has a Limit on how many different teams you can use throughout the championship on lower divisions, as a way to prevent the wealthiest players to get an Advantage as they can build multiple teams throughout the championship, even one for each matchday if they're willing to do so, and to prevent overspending as the Championship is not rentable enough. This limit depends on the division you're on:Serie A: No limit, feel free to spend as many as you want with multiple teams.Serie B: 5 Teams.Serie C: 3 Teams.Serie D: 1 Team.CaioXLive provided us with the Complete Rulebook - Be aware that it's in Brazilian Portuguese - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1t59KUfniT-bavmBKnVP1Q_KWS_44JfV93Ojs9H33rtY/edit?usp=drivesdkCopa do Brasil - Rulebook:Who can Compete? All 32 players qualified to Serie A or B are in the Competition. There is no sign up: When you're signing up and qualify for the Serie A or B, you're automatically in the competition. The winner's prize is still yet to be announced but the Winner is ensured on the Intercontinental Cup, as long as he is not disqualified in the Brazilian League by excess of Walkovers. First Stage: Classic Swiss Stage -First phase will consist in a 3 Round Swiss Phase. You advance with 2 wins, you say goodbye with 2 losses.Round 1: 32 players are drawn out, and it's ensured that two players from same division will never face each other. 16 winners advance to the Winner's Bracket, 16 losers drop to the Loser's Bracket. Round 2 - Winners: The 16 players are assigned their opponents in advance, based on the bracket's position. The 8 winners advance to the Knockouts directly, the 8 losers will go to the last chance. Round 2 - Losers: The 16 players are assigned their opponents in advance, based on the bracket's position. The 8 winners advance to the Last Chance, the 8 losers will be eliminated. Round 3 - Last Chance: The 16 players are assigned their opponents in advance, based on the bracket's position. A player coming from winner's bracket is always paired vs a player from the loser's bracket. 8 winners advance to the Next Stage, 8 losers are out. Round 4 - Round of 16. Standard Elimination Bracket onwards. Winner's Bracket Players will face someone from Last chance. Round 5 - Quarterfinals and Round 6 - Semifinals. Randomized Standard Elimination Bracket. June 11Jun 11 Author Posted a Bit late, took long to decide whether should use my Main Account or an dedicated one for the event, due to the Natural harassment hosts take in some tournaments. As why we got some partnerships done before posting here, it's because i was already advertising on PokéMMO's official Discord. Next Wednesday, 18th June, I'll be opening the Tournament Signups Post. The reason being that on 22nd June BPL Signups will open already. Instructions in Signup will be posted there.
June 14Jun 14 Author Update on the restricting ban policy.Hello everyone, I'm here to inform an Update on the League's Policy about federation bans. As of right now, the federations are only allowed to ban if the Intercontinental Cup does so, and that makes the process slow when the ban is really important, such as involvment of the person with RMT.So now we lighten up the policy: If what its commited is a violation of PokéMMO Code of Conduct/TOS, and the federation has sufficient evidence to hold that violation true, the federation can issue an immediate ban on the person, without waiting Intercontinental Cup to approve.People banned this way can appeal their ban with the Intercontinental Cup.If it's discovered that Violation was true, the person is banned from the Intercontinental Cup as a result. If it's discovered that the Violation didnt happen, the ban is immediately reverted and the Federation will have to compensate the person.Federation can still only issue Bans if the Intercontinental Cup authorize, or under the circumstances mentioned on this post, or when it's a bot/alt accounts. Violations of the Federation's rules that are not serious enough to the Intercontinental Cup intervent, must be punished by at most, mutes and fines. Edited June 14Jun 14 by MMOInterCup
June 14Jun 14 At this point just change your name Caio, who is going to participate in a tournament that is full buy in when you contribute nothing to it, and has a questionable host?
June 14Jun 14 Author 3 hours ago, razimove said:At this point just change your name Caio, who is going to participate in a tournament that is full buy in when you contribute nothing to it, and has a questionable host?Wait a minute, I just checked here, you're from Portugal, so why are you saying anything about the Brazilian League? Isn't like you're going to compete in it anyway, because as soon as you signup for Brazil I would correct the country you're in.If it's concern because of maybe a Teammate, then I may ask how he is crownfunding the tour. But Buy-in is perfectly fine and it's best to have one in order to avoid a thing called "forfeit." Edited June 14Jun 14 by MMOInterCup
June 14Jun 14 Author Okay, sorry for taking long, had something called "Job" so couldnt post early. CaioXLive stated that he is willing to put 5 million in his own league, and the rest come from signups. 6, technically, as he is probably adding 1 million for the Brazilian Cup but dont know if it comes from the main prizepool yet.You can clarify things to your teammate now. June 14Jun 14 So the window for the invite is 01/01-01/07 that means you are going to all the past tournaments and add up who is invited? Even tho some of those players already quit and won't respond to this.
June 15Jun 15 Author 3 hours ago, CaptnBaklava said:So the window for the invite is 01/01-01/07 that means you are going to all the past tournaments and add up who is invited? Even tho some of those players already quit and won't respond to this. All tours from that period will indeed be add up. If the person dont signup, all we will do is simply hand over the spot to the next on the table, that signed to play. We wont hand over invites to the Winners of each tour, it will be for the top scorers, and it is possible that one of the top scorers didn't win anything at all. HellScream for example, it's secured basically on the OU Championship and didnt won any tour included on rankings Edited June 15Jun 15 by MMOInterCup
