What is the rarest item in the game?

As the title suggests, I wanted to open this thread to have an interesting discussion and conclude which is the rarest item in the game—that item, Pokémon, or cosmetic that is extremely difficult and rare to find these days. Some examples I can think of are:

- Pokémon with the Developer Particle

- Pokémon with EVs at 255

- the Leap Stone

- Party Fez

I'd be happy to read those suggestions.

    The party hat is by far the rarest thing in this game. It was the 1st limited item released. I believe it was suppose to be seasonal but it was so ugly it never made a comeback and was available for a VERY short period of time. I'll conclude with this, the majority of them which were purchased (maybe 90%+) and believe me there was not many, was gathered / collected by a player "BaronOfViridian". This player got banned and thanks to him, you're looking at ONLY 2 party hats existing.

    Edit: You can argue the 255 mons are also just as rare because finding one with 255 on 2 stats is like finding a chicken with teeth. But there are players who have them, including myself and then there are players with shiny ones that have 2x 255. I know of 3 players that have this.

    EDIT: I'm only aware of 3 Pokémon that have this particle, but I don't know their visual effect. A Rotom, a Blissey, and this Breloom.

    I used to have the Developer particle on my Shiny Unown (and a random Hydreigon), i have a friend that also used to have it on his Shiny Heracross. To give you a bit more info on it, it was available for a bit after the servers opened when Lunar New Year 2024 happened, the servers were open only for a very short range of time, so only a couple of people managed to get in (and even less notice the icon). This particle was quietly removed a few months after people started listing theirs on GTL, so all mons that had it lost it too.

    And the visual animation? It simply didn't had one, it was most likely a placeholder while they were doing the spriting work and probably forgot to remove it.

    did they also remove the particle from the mons? interesting.

    Its the party hat, and will always be. only one in existence as far as we know (some say due to bribery but these claims have never been substansiated). so until we know otherwise, every other item multiple examples of it exist.
