I'm going to do the following family lines in this order:

Gastly line

Machop line

Geodude line

Off the top of my head Geodude line, Voltorb line, Onix line, Drowzee line, Electabuzz, Pinsir, Doduo line.  Although it's ok if you can't find designs for everything.

I actually know someone who can draw up some designs. I'll see what I can find before I ask her. The Gastly looks a bit huge at the moment. She totally reminds me of the Gengar we have now.

Oh, cool.

Gastly's bulk is mostly gas though, her body is like Caterpie sized. Plus the Gengar will be revamped as well.

Much better. I guess it was the gas that made her look huge earlier. Move her a few pixels right to center her a bit better. Dat gassy girl.

Finally able to write again :D A broken arm is no fun.

Well, the Moemon look really great :D Even the Eeveelutions look awesome :3 and that absol *-* the chocolate one is the best one *.*

Looking kinda brown there, Haunter. Sprite itself is fine, the only thing I'd change is maybe her eyebrows to make her angry/aggressive instead of distressed, and the skin tone.

I had originally planned on making her yandere.  Maybe you'll be creeped out.  Or aroused.  Or both.  Or neither, because I fail.

Though having a yandere wouldnt be that bad :P mainly cuz it makes her be more unique (as she is the first yandere looking moemon ive found on fire red)

I saw that shiny Haunter only had red turned into blue, which wouldn't work for this sprite, so maybe shiny Gengar's colours instead?

I was thinking about either jet black or something like a blue-purple, or outside the box thinking like yellow (complementary color is always fun) or other colors. Gengar color looks pretty good on Haunter tho. What do you think about Gastly? Original is light blue, but I think pink would be better. I'll make some variations when I get off work later. 

 

I don't like the pose of your backsprite; it doesn't reflect the frontsprite's arms. I'm not sure, but I think the sidebang is a bit too right also. Try moving it leftward to show more of the face, and widen your mouth too while you are at it to reflect the front more.

I'm not going to replicate the front exactly, I can't make it look right.  And if anything, based on the angle of the hair, the face should be pointing further away from us.

Left is better. Check her outfit's color. The chest area should be a tone or two lighter according to your front's design. Add a bit light tone on the right arm also.
