Is alt running good?

So I recently found about alt running in which u make a new character and play with it and sell all the things for money. So u can get rare items easily like exp share from the emerald games and exp share sell for a lot . so is it good or ethical to do so .

not really worth it anymore since most of the valuable items are untradeable these days, however its a good way to get more characters to gymrun for example
