Stuck on a mod im making need some help

im making a mod that shows Pokémon's weaknesses next to their sprites so you dont have to google when you are up against a unfamiliar pkmn, I have the battle sprites combined with a .png to make a working GIF that looks amazing but ingame something glitches out and the Pokémon balloons way bigger than it should be, I had this problem before and I fixed it by changing the scale.txt file and making it smaller but I have it set as low as it will go I have it set to "1" and its still like 60% too big?

you need something that offsets the spritework. how about making the file resolution smaller?

I made it 60% smaller with ezgif but the words are completely unreadable, coulda probably made it even smaller, looks like I gotta resize all the sprites and then layer on the .png so that its readable?

You can put smaller values too, e.g. 0.25.

 

Ideally you would put empty space at the top, left and right (not the bottom so they don't float, unless it's a flying pokemon) of the gifs to make them all the same size, e.g. 500x500 pixels. Then you apply the same scaling factor to all of them.
