[Exp. Share not working]

Oh and the exp gets sent to that pokemon only? I thought it was shared with all pokes, thanks so much for the help you are awesome.

Hi guys,

 

Im new to the game, I recently bought an Exp. share off the GTL, put it on my lead pokemon but it just does not work at all, no exp is being shared, i've checked the exp of my pokes then checked again after a battle and they are all the same, what am I doing wrong? The only thing I can think of is that because I dont have the 50 captured pokemon to get the original Exp. share, my current one wont work.

 

Can anyone help?
