The thing is, I'm not even just talking about this post. I meant it more in general. I can understand with this specific post that no, the longevity is not that great. I just see a decent amount of ideas shut down that could actually be really fun...and I look at some features of the game and wonder if they will ever be paid attention to again, or if it is now going to just drop off the face of the earth i.e. swarms. Not sure if it's in progress anymore, but it was entertaining for the first few weeks and then what happened to it...? So yea, some features like that tend to be added anyway...same with altering cave. I believe we were told the intention was to have different and new cycles, then it just never happened. So you can't say things like this don't already make it in game. Mostly I just think additions to staff (which apparently isn't going to budge) and more voice of the players, some kind of voting system or at least new features proposed by staff and then players can vote on which they think should take priority. Then staff can kind of go from there, and implement as they see fit since they're gonna just do that anyway.

Exactly, we need to add new things to make the game more 'fun' as that is what a game should be. I understand it is in alpha...but at the same time, there is a reason it has been that way for so long...other than yes, the staff don't really get paid much from my understanding, but I'm just saying. Maybe it's time to hire some new staff to make the game continue moving along at a decent pace, and add for better input of opinions. edit: I don't by any means mean that we need to REMOVE certain staff members; I just mean MORE staff (seeking out programmers and the like, people who are passionate about the game) might improve the quality of things.

Okay, seriously? This person is coming up with ideas for something aside from competitive play, obviously. Something fun to do with friends. This isn't the kind of thing people would do constantly; they'd do it a few times for the fun of it. And if you're talking about standard gameplay, I'm assuming you simply mean hanging out in Viridian dueling or doing absolutely nothing, or breeding. That is what standard gameplay is right now, and people are saying they're bored. If this game is truly going to be dynamic, at least take a moment before you stuff peoples' ideas in the trash can simply because of YOUR preferences. The staff seriously needs to start listening to the players, because this game is just going to slowly die. Unless a big update happens, I think other interesting things aside from small breeding fixes, need to be implemented. At least take into account that we could have a voting system for this kind of thing, to see which ideas the player base truly believes in and wants to see happen. /end rant

The thing is...I think the people saying it has very little rhythm and can barely count as music have only listened to awful dubstep. There is a lot of dubstep that I enjoy and it isn't overwhelming in the sense that it's NOT screechy, with a lot of annoying high pitched sounds and always following the same patterns. The chill stuff is sometimes better imo...
