I don't even know why we don't have this already. We have the NPC sprites from Gen 4, but the Trainer sprites from Gen 3? Why? Example: This is the overworld sprite from the male Ace Trainer: This is his battle sprite: But THIS should be his battle sprite:

No, implementing regions and Pokemon isn't just Copy&Paste, it's a lot of programming and requires good programming skills. For comparison, Pokemon World Online exists since 2007 and does only have Kanto and Johto and is far less advanced than PokeMMO. Besides that, why should the devs spend every day of ther lives to work on a Pokemon game for an ungrateful community? "You like this game? Ass kisser!!!1!" They don't even get money for it, aside from a few donations to cover the server costs.
