1. @Magi I'm the one to blame. The sprite is perfectly fine for use, but I'm just being picky with my standards. Edit: I'm fine with browns, but I just don't want browns in my Moemon. The only one that could be brown is Jynx.
2. @Magi I still feel Blastoise is small, so her face quality is low/less moe. It's a hard Pokemon to tackle. Edit: I'll try to start one from scratch. I just had an idea.
3. @Magi That looks alright. I don't want to sound racist, but I honestly prefer not to have brown moemons. M-maybe we can change her skin tone for contrast sake o-okay? @eggplantoftime Sneasel, this Flareon (backsprite also), Blastoise (I'm still not satisfied with it), and Charizard. Edit: Charizard and Blastoise being a higher priority since I want them done so I can release a new patch.
4. @Kelarr We got too much on our plate at the moment. We'll try to tackle it once we finish what we got on hands. I have no mouth, and I must moe. Jokes aside, can you put a mouth on this when you get a chance Magi? I can't seem to get it right.
5. @Magi I've worked way too long on that Jolteon, I can't really see straight anymore. Please correct it for me. As for the Ivysaur, since your light source is on from the right side, your left side of the face should be darker. Use the brown tone as a shading also if you have to. Edit: A bit too much shading now. See below. Also, why do you insist on using that fugly blue hue for the darkest hair tone? It's way too bright to be a shadow blue. I've softened up your eyelashes with a bit of greens and added more colors into the eyes.
6. @Magi I was hoping for a bit more shading on the face. The pixels between the hair should be your darker skin tone/brown also. I'd add slightly more eye whites to pull the eyes out more, or change the colors of the eyes all together. Edit: Screw it, yolo
7. @ShinyHaxorus Complete base stage. There's barely any shading or highlight, and I haven't even set the full 16 colors yet (only have planned 13 at the moment).
8. @Magi Perfect so far. Edit: I have no idea what I am doing anymore. Based on this Jolteon

9. @Rache Mm yeah, you have a point. So as a revision, medium size pokemon need to be 4 or more head tall. Celebi is small size, so it doesn't have to follow. I'm not particularly fond of that Celebi though. It just doesn't really have a Celebi feel to it. See this hairstyle:

10. @Rache Slightly smaller than the new standard. Please enlarge the head by a few pixel, then the entire sprite to be four head tall. Your sprite is currently three head tall. Edit: I know Celebi is small and all, but still. -> Messy work.
11. Moemon patch (Moegar 3-29-2013) is the latest version I have uploaded... and it's a year old. http://www.sendspace.com/file/zvxw6v I'll release a new one once we get all the starters finished.
12. @Magi I'm gonna sound somewhat idiotic or like a broken record, but I want to set a standard of how big each sprite is - Like I previously said, I want the head needs to be about 1/3 of the sprite to ensure maximum moeness, while the body needs to be 3 head proportion (so total 4) or ~4 for fully grown Pokemon (total 5) - meaning most of them needs to have their legs bent to fit in the frame unless you make some super dynamic poses. Your Venusaur, Charmeleon and Wartortle all fit that standard as of the moment while my Jolteon's body is too small for that standard at the moment. I will go back and fix or completely redo the front sprite of Jolteon unless you want to. On side note, I'm also learning to shrink fan arts into smaller sizes to use a base now. I think my Flareon is coming out quite well.
13. This is the best I can do with my current skills.
14. @Magi Bueno. Backsprite too please. On side note, this is gonna take me a while... EDIT: Should I just let you do all the sprite since you're gonna have to go back and tune them all up either way. Like, does my attempts save you time or do I just make things worse?
15. @Magi I've read that a few years ago. I know the basic to spriting, but I'm just incredibly slow at it. Is this better? I can actually fit the ear now! EDIT: Changed the yellow slightly. EDIT 2: Do you mind helping me tune it up just a bit?
16. @Rache Those are some... interesting designs. While they have pretty good concepts, salvaging them would probably take more time than starting from scratch or using another as base. They're good food for thoughts, at least. Edit: Now if you will excuse me, I got some Sneasel sprites to battle...
17. Not really fond of Rin. This, on the other hand...

18. ---> And green eyes version because I am a sucker for blondes with green eyes.
19. @susanoomon54 There are a lot of good designs in there, but again, I'm not a really good spriter and I probably won't be actively making sprites. I can point them out to Magister, but in the end it's his decision to make what he wants. @Blinky Takeshima's designs are all really lovely. That Zangoose should actually be a lot easier to make than Jolteon.
20.

-> Tried spriting one of my favorite Pokemon using the current as a base and a fan art as design. I'm too tired to see straight. Feel free to criticize or fix for me. Not enough room to fit the second ear...
21. @Magi Try moving the corner of the right eyelash one pixel left. You got too much eye white at the moment and it looks derp.
22. @Magi I felt the face's shading was a bit too much still and toned it back a bit, but I might've placed the nose pixel in the wrong place. I've changed the eyes a bit to show more eye white and stronger highlight, and experimented with a more circle-ish face. Tell me what you think. Edit: Just noticed I cut the left eye by one pixel in the middle two variation... they kind of look good without that pixel though.
23. @Rache Those are some thick eyelashes. I've trimmed them and her ahoge, enlarged her hand, added eyebrows and did some minor shading fixes for that sleeve.
