    hi guys! :3 weekend's here! will go online :3

     

    Fucking thank god it's fuckin friday !!

     

    I hate this internship, every monday morning I'm already counting down the hours till the week end  :mellow:

     

    Haven't been playing much this week either, but most of the time I was all by myself. Haven't seen many members active on the forum as well, but I guess it's just summer time !

    Since when did people stop mining for gold? (point 1)

    I edited my post into saying I don't want to link pokedollars to the new currency (point 2)

     

     

     

     

    'Deserve'. Pokedollars aren't exactly hard-earned. Especially when selling items becomes available.

    The "Tyronecoins" I have in mind are too make trading shinies/competitive pokes/TMs more easily.

     

    Since when did gold become an infinite resource ? There's only a finite amount of gold on this planet and that's part of the reason why governments stopped linking the value of currencies to gold.

     

    If TyronCoins are available for a certain amount of pokedollars, I don't see why it would make trading more easy at all. I might just think to myself, this is worth 1 tyroncoin or 1 million pokedollars.

     

    EDIT: Now you stated 100 TyronCoins for 1 lucky egg. I see your point, but since pokedollars and lucky eggs are lootable items. It still doesn't make a big difference to me.

    I see your point but say the quantity of lucky eggs increase faster than the quantity of "other things" ? Or the other way around ?
    Then there'll be a great inflation/deflation.

    My idea is, to create a currency based on the value of lucky eggs. Seeing how the value of this item remains relatively stable.

    In real life, you may compare the lucky egg to the value of gold. Throughout history currency has been often been in direct relation to the value of gold. See gold coins for example. (1) and (4).

     

    I'm not studying any economics or anything but for me it seems pretty weird that the value of the lucky egg may remain constant.

     

    First of all, because there will be more and more lucky eggs day after day and thus infinitely. You don't see that in your everyday life.

     

    Second of all, about the money (let's call it PokeDollar for the sake of the game). It will have unlimited supply as well, as people will spam even more the E4/Gorgeous Resort with their persians. 

    The governments used to rely on gold for the sake of their currency, but it's not the case anymore. And nowadays governments try to regulate the amount of money in circulation, which clearly isn't the case in pokemmo.

    So when trying to compare the pokemmo economy with our real life's economy, we would probably fail because of these 2 points.

     

    Also, not using the pokedollars because you think they're too inflated, but still willing to pay 1 Million for 1 tyroncoin sounds pretty silly to me.

    Why don't you just deflate the value of the pokedollar ? 

     

    To me the reasoning is exactly this:

     

    Okay so people got tired of saying  9 460 730 472 580 km so they created the light year (pretty much the equivalent of the TyronCoin) so they could talk about less ridiculous distances like 50 million light years instead of... well you do the maths. But the result is exactly the same.

    May I ask why you joined our team again then Evesa ? First you left because you felt you didn't fit. Which is totally understandable.

     

    But now you come back and not only 3 days later you say this on a friend's team thread ? I'm not mad at all, just confused. Why would you re-join a team you didn't like in the first place and not join the one team you like (i.e. Bushido). Do you have troubles understanding what you want ?

     

    I personally think it's for the best that you join Bushido because you'll be happier there and won't be frustrated while staying in our team. We won't hate you forever if you leave as you said, or at least I won't, but you should at least be honnest in the future.

    I read on the breeding guide that the most important thing the parents need are good IV's because the offspring's nature is rather random.

     

    So what we really need to get good babies is pokes with ALL IV's > 25, and we don't care about their nature. Because as you read, a low IV has a much higher chance to be passed to the baby than a high IV.

     

    So for instance we shouldn't use:

    Slowking Lv.50 [lonely] HP[29] ATK[22] DEF[25-26] SATK[30-31] SDEF[27] SPD[0-1] 

     

    Because the odds of passing the speed IV are very high. 

     

    Ezekel you should tell us what gender are your pokes too :p

    I really really like your absol, gengar and adamant snorlax, I think I could use them !

     

    Btw, leran you need to make sort of a "pokemon bank" on the 1st page on the team thread, or on the website so that everyone can see all the available pokes.

    Didnt actually ever think of a nickname, x') you can call me how you want x'D as long as i understand that ya talkin to me, haha :D

    anyway, how come you can't be online? :o

     

    Welcome HeavenlyGuy, so from the overuse of smileys I can immediately assume you're French or at least come from a French speaking country :p

     

    I'm French btw.

     

    Anyway, just wanted to say that last night during the friday fifties tourny Eze and I got up to the 3rd round and stopped there. 

    I had to play Kevola during the 1st round but he deco'd resulting in him being Dq'd :/ 

    Then I played a good fight (dat Arcanine with HP grass !) against a dude whom I've already forgotten his name.

    And then lost to Purpleherpe to a bellydrummer + rest + snore snorlax when my arcanine flinched when trying to roar it out.

     

    And Eze finally beat Pokennon after 4 consecutive losses and it was a pretty damn good fight !

     

    Also, Strands who signed me up for this tourny didn't even show up. What an ass...

    So guys now that breeding is implemented I have a suggestion:

     

    We should make a list of all different pokemon egg groups, under each section people will post their pokes belonging to that group with the best IV's (Don't care about nature or very little). We should also say what are their gender.

     

    I'll start with simple examples:

     

    Water2 + Dragon:

     

    Gyarados Lv.50 [naughty] HP[30] ATK[31] DEF[24-25] SATK[0] SDEF[28] SPD[26] (female)

     

    Human Like:

     

    Hypno Lv.47 [bashful] HP[23-24] ATK[22-23] DEF[29-30] SATK[29-30] SDEF[14-15] SPD[24-25] (male I think)

     

    Ground + Fairy:

     

    Granbull Lv.50 [adamant] HP[26-27] ATK[31] DEF[21-22] SATK[10-13] SDEF[23-24] SPD[31] (female) knows return so should not be traded for happiness matter.

     

     

    This is meant to help each other in breeding great comps pokes. But I can understand that some of you may not want to trade their pokes.
