Cataclysm is a pretty good expansion Dragon Soul was a shit raid but 1 shit raid doesn't make the expansion bad. MoP was good too, except the first tier was boring. Throne of Thunder was an amazing raid.

Except it isn't being treated the same as the other sections, and lurking is an effective way to learn how to fit in no matter where you are. Some people choose not to. That's okay. Nobody HAS to. Some people don't. And we've been asking THIS WHOLE TIME for a moderator who DOES understand the section. You keep assigning mods who aren't capable of doing so. Daft was almost successful, I honestly really liked him but he needed assistance. Like what are you even saying anymore? You say we don't need a moderator to understand the section's culture, then go on to say that if a moderator cannot understand the culture then new users will have trouble with it too. So what do you even want? Clearly not everyone is cut out for the job or else we wouldn't be here right now. You may not take kindly to this, but there are things that need to be said. I would politely ask you to stop posting, because you clearly do not care about making everyone happy as opposed to making yourself happy. Every single time you post, all you do is feed us this drivel, and don't try to work together with us to make everyone happy. I wanted communication with staff, and this isn't communication, this is us being given orders. This is not a demand, but a request. You are free to continue posting, but unless you plan on working with us instead of against us, everyone would benefit from you not saying anything.

This can be accomplished with one mod who knows the community, or two mods where at least one of them knows the community and the other can turn to them for advice before making a sketchy action. So you're both correct.

Except we would speak to each other this way in public. Because we aren't afraid some police officer is going to grab us by the shoulder and tell us we're not allowed to say bad words. This is exactly the problem. Stop trying to enforce your opinions on us. That shit isn't even in the rules.

What we want is more freedom in Off-Topic to be able to post something without worrying that the mods are going to take it the wrong way and hide/lock our posts/threads. Just because I call King a shitter doesn't mean I'm actually calling him a shitter. It's just friendly banter. Like you can't sit there and say banter is rule breaking when we had an entire thread dedicated to people's shitty taste in things. It was a successful thread too. We also had a thread dedicated to people's edgy phases in their early teens that was pretty well received and, if I remember correctly since I can't look at it right now, had no insults. We literally had threads that were just asking for the insults to come flying in but they didn't, and the threads weren't messed with. I'm not going to say we're capable of self moderation, because there are still things that need to be moderated, but they need to be moderated by somebody who knows what to moderate and how to moderate it.

I've done it. My road to 100 is over. My Win/Loss record after hitting 100 wins is 100/16. It's been a very long and sometimes painful journey. If there was anything I could say to all of my adorable fans out there, it would be to keep this advice from a wise sage in your heart at all times: "One classic Dedede strategy is to remind your opponent that he is a junkyard of disappointed, and that it's time to take out the trash"

Do you wanna tell me why you think somebody who is friends with the community can't adequately moderate the forum without being biased? Or are you just going to leave it up in the air and call me biased?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you're assuming that somebody who is close friends with the community isn't capable of doing an adequate job of moderating the section without somebody from the outside. I have utmost confidence that most of the people who have had to put up with the shit in OT for the last couple of years are more than capable of moderating the section without bias. Just because you're friends with the community doesn't mean you can't do your job properly.

Just my two cents. I'd rather we not have our current GMs be the only ones moderating the forum whilst there is somebody on the team that seems to think we do nothing but shitpost and can't have meaningful conversations. We just need a new mod who is well received by the community and knows the community enough to moderate actual inappropriate content like personal attacks as opposed to friendly banter. Deejaye will do it, I'd do it, fuck we could both do it. There's also a lot more people who are capable but it's not really up to me to decide.

At least my Armageddemon isn't a giant piece of shit anymore. Still won't go back though. I know on Global I had a 5/5 128% Dracomon Green but I don't really remember much else. On Korea I was fuckin loaded. I remember having a bunch of 5/5s that I got without paying. Like I would just be like lmao lets 5/5 this and then get it in one try with a random ass egg I had laying around in my bags from leveling shit.
