This is a Guide on how Alpha Pokémon work it states here "Alphas from part 3 aren't shiny locked, but you can't reset them (if your first encounter with the Alpha isn't shiny and you faint/run away from it to fight it again, you wont be able to find his shiny version)" hope this helps.
