The whole genetics thing is really interesting. Esepcially because they mentioned something like your old pokemon appearing in new ways. I don't expect there to be a whole slew of 150 new 'mons in this like gen 5, but a solid amount of new pokemon with a bunch of new evolutions for our older pokemon. The whole new eeveelution thing still holds some legs.

I honestly think this is the reason now that I think about it. They want to keep that exp bonus viable for donating. I don't think the elite 4 cooldown helps keep the donations worthy. People want to donate because they enjoy the game. I certainly didn't donate for any of the bonuses given (although i did find a shiny during). When the game itself is enjoyable and the users feel happy about how the game plays, more people will be willing to donate. I think this last update certainly helped with this but the think the elite cooldown isn't exactly neccessary.

I guess I understand the people saying that the devs want to cap exp, but if people want to get to 100, they will anyway. This would give people more time to look for good pokemon rather than spending hours grinding to 100. Plus the metagame would get bumped up to 100.
