1. Are People ONLY going for 31s?

Well I am, don't know other people, you see, for me it's "easier" to go for 31 because I don't need to go hunt for pokemon with good overall stats to reach something like 25+/25+/25+/25+/25+/31 which is actually a harder task, at least for me or maybe I'm just unlucky, but when I go for 31 I can breed a pokemon 4x31 or 5x31 with egg moves and everything in four, five days without spending too much because I payday with npcs, that's better for me but the part when I have to hunt for pokemons and confirm ivs it's awful
2. I heard the economy was bad now? Idrk bc i have been rip for a while but that is what i heard.

It's kind of bad but because of the things I said before, It's not a bad system but too time consuming (because of the unconfirmed ivs) and that's one of the reason why people don't want to breed.

You hunt a lot of pokes with "apparently" 31 in a stat, then u start to confirm them and let's say u catch 50 pokes from the egg group u need and u spent hours confirming. You will end up with like 7-10 pokes with 31 in a stat and not all of them are useful for what u need in that precise moment

And if u repeat and repeat that u get kind of tired :/

I've been breeding a lot but I wont deny that part of the breeding is really frustrating, they change that and things will get better for sure
3. I like it because you can guarentee exactly what you want (if you have the money). However like you said, it is very unforgiving, and breeding genderless pokemon is next to impossible. Having to level up to confirm the IV sucks bigtime aswell.

This^

Of course the system needs an improvement with the genderless poke (It can wait)and the ivs (THIS CAN'T, IT HAS TO BE, YES OR YES!!) but I think we're in the right path to have a really good system, It's way better than before to the economy but changes have to be made to guarantee that
4. I think the grinding and time it takes could be reduced with confirmed ivs since (at least for me) it is the part it takes a lot of time, with that fixed this could be funnier for those who don't like it and with an improved method to ev train then everything will be better, that's my opinion

I don't get why people don't like this system, it is twice, three times better than before e.e

5. Depending how bulky you want it:
Enough hp to never be 2hko by burned metagross meteor mash / enough speed to outspeed positive max speed 100's / rest in spatk
Shadow ball / tbolt / taunt or sub or pain split / wow

Or

252 hp / 180 speed / rest in def
Same movesets, just bulkier

Should be 176 hp for top set iirc just do some calcs, and 180 or 188 speed to outspeed positive 100's

Thank u man for your fast answer, I was sure about the speed but I wasn't about the hp and def, I think I'll go with the bulkier one, I like that more for what I have in mind, THANK U THANK U
6. Ok guys here I am again asking for your help as always

I just bred this perfection (31/x/31/31/31/31)

jgpkqv.png

I want to make this Gengar a little bulky with pain split and WoW to spread burn status to some physical pokemon like Snorlax, Metagross, Flygon, etc. but I have doubts about the ev spread and the other two moves, I thought using his two stabs (Shadow Ball and Sludge Bomb) but Pokémon like Metagross will resist them really well so what are your suggestions guys?

I will really appreciate your help

7. I like it, it's true that the grinding is a little too much but that can be fixed, the only problem I see is the genderless pokemon, It's really hard to breed those, dittos need to be captured with ultra balls which are expensive and most of them are useless so with genderless pokemon becomes a really problem but besides that I like the control I have over my babies, I've been breeding 4x31, 5x31 with egg moves and I've loved it although it's true it takes days

8. Everyone agree to this, all shards but red are balanced, difficult but accessible after a while, but these red shards are impossible, there's no way u can get one, you fish and fish and fish and no corsola appears but when it finally does then there's no shard to steal, it's annoying as hell

9. Run a fire move or you are doing it wrong

252HP 252DEF works fine with
Toxic/ExtremeSpeed
Crunch
Flamethrower
Morning Sun

You can also invest in SDEF to not get hit hard by Gengar

I thought the same thing but it is not affected by the -sp.atk drop of the nature? what about flame wheel? It is fire and physical

252 hp/def last 4 att or spa att. if you wanna toss toxic for roar go ahead. loads of things need phazing (snorlax for one) and you can have toxic on other pokes. it's mainly for the insta heal bulky waters and cb hitters to keep them from spamming.

EDIT craigs right you need a fire move

yeah the primary reason why I wanted to use roar was because of snorlax, I want this arcanine to be a good check to any snorlax, with the +defense nature, intimidate and roar there's no snorlax set good enough to beat this arcanine (That's in paper at least)

Go to the showdown calc and check how much spdef you need to make sure sludge bomb from 252 spatk gengar is a 3hko after poison damage and leftovers. (On phone right now so don't wanna do it for you)
Put that much into spdef
252 hp / that much spdef / rest in def

Moveset:
Morning sun
Crunch
Flamethrower (or overheat/fire blast but flamethrower is most consistent for a bulky Pokemon)
Espeed / toxic / roar

That doesn't seem like a bad idea, I might try that but since his sp def is low (21) I have to check if I don't need too many evs on that
10. Ok guys so I bred this cutie right here

2h31uds.png

and I want to know what are your opinion about ev spread and moveset

I know is common Extreme Speed/Crunch/Morning Sun/Toxic but I was thinking in replacing Toxic for Roar and ev train it 252 HP 252 ATK 4 DEF, what do u guys think?

EDIT: these are its ivs 31/31/31/30/21/26

11. Yeah but the guy is right, sometimes he takes too much time to give an egg and sometimes he gives them really fast, yesterday I waited like an hour for him to give me my egg when usually he gives them fast and I'm just breeding the same thing so it's kind of weird

12. Well I guess I will just have to test, I'll start with Facade first since I don't have to farm for yellow shards but if I get into situations where thunder punch could have saved my life xD then I'll use thunder punch

Thank u guys it was really helpful <3

13. iron def / amnesia / rest / toxic. thats 16/16/24/32 pp. rest=4 turns per one rest pp, so thats 136 turns off stall. literally nothing but perish trappers and a few set up pokes can break this. if you bring a cb poke slowking will laugh
252+ Atk Choice Band Absol Megahorn vs. +2 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowking: 94-112 (46.5 - 55.4%) -- 16.4% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
pokes that can actually break this
SD zangoose (cb loses)

+6 252 Atk Zangoose Return vs. +6 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowking: 67-79 (33.1 - 39.1%) -- 11.4% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

+6 252+ Atk Zangoose Return vs. +6 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowking: 73-87 (36.1 - 43%) -- 96.4% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
SD absol (however if slowking iron defs on the switch in, it can toxic absol then switch out. round 2 absol wont be able to come in and break slowking. while absol user can use heal bell/aroma, once slowking set up a few iron defs, it can toxic absol any time it comes in and just stall until absol dies or switches out to heal bell/aroma user. ofc toxic has more pp then bell/aroma)

+6 252 Atk Absol Megahorn vs. +6 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowking: 114-136 (56.4 - 67.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

+6 252+ Atk Absol Megahorn vs. +6 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowking: 124-148 (61.3 - 73.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
SD crawdaunt but not CB/DD. in same situation as absol
SD shiftry but not CB. in same situatoin as absol/cradaunt
SD breloom can beat it, but not before it dies to toxic unless good luck with spore sleep times.

+6 252+ Atk Breloom ThunderPunch vs. +6 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowking: 78-94 (38.6 - 46.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers
recovery

and the obvious perish trapper beats it too.
btw 136 turns is GUARANTEED a time clause with only one pokemon.

i'll start doing calcs for curse/calm mind set. also it's not that they dont have any counters, but they have few and half off them are being looked at for BL also.

That is insane, ugly way to play but insane at the end, no one should play like that but maybe we have to be ready for someone playing with this moveset
14. I would suggest
fire punch
thunder punch/earthquake (tho fire punch and cross chop hit everything that EQ would hit as well and thunder punch oves waters better)
cross chop Superpower
bulk up

This is what I actually have in my mind now since I think bulk up set might be better according to what u just said but I also think it would be cool to include Facade, do u guys think is worth using? if it is, what move would u throw away? Thunder Punch?

15. Ok guys, so I want to ask u what is the best moveset, nature and ev spread for machamp after the split since his movepool is bigger now.

The thing is I have two machamp already a 2x31 (hp and atk) 3x27+ sleep talker with cross chop and rock slide and one with hp ghost (RIP) 5x25+, since I can't use hp ghost on him anymore I want to breed a new one and better, like 4x31 at least, so I need your advices to decide what can I do with him

Thank u :3
