  1. fake pokemon wont happen

Ok one. That happened a little faster than expected. Two I was only saying it could help spice things up a little. Of course some people will just all them "fake" I call them original. Its a matter of perspective honestly but odds are your right.

Off the wall here I was also thinking about a few random aesthetic things. Like occasionally a wingull/pidgey/fearow/beedrill will fly across the screen in some areas for example. I don't think it would be so difficult being only a minor aesthetic.

  2. My brothers account is being repeatedly kicked off the network regardless of the computer he uses. I have tried to sign in my own account on this computer *which was the 2nd one he attempted* and while I connected he did not. When he attempts to log in Pokemmo will say he is logging in but never actually open the server menu.

  3. Please go outside
Anyways you don't really have to payday all day. Try to find good pokes and breed them together, and once you have the one you like, sell the others

Please go outside? is it because I noted multiple genres that debunked someones comment? Or the fact that I backed it up with a bad joke. I don't do selling pokemon to other people :-P So yeah that is alot of pay-daying. But that was someone elses argument not mine but I can see where they are coming from. Mostly from the original comment. Also going outside isn't much of an option at this time of year cause it is freezing outside :-P

  4. Just bc 101 people dont understand game balance doesnt mean a thing. Also this poll was poorly put together to begin with. All of that is ignoring the fact that polls on here are extremely unreliable. For example i didnt put my vote in bc of how dumb the options were. Not only that this poll was taken b4 the new breeding was implemented and the community actually got a chance to use it.

also the topic was made shortly after the new breeding was announced, i was sceptical first too and i bet a lot of ppl voted against it who are fine now with it without coming back here and change their vote ;)

I was saying that if this system was implemented without killing pokemon you would have a ditto that majors in every trait and have consistent 6 x 31 with perfect nature and ability basically EVERY time. Even if you are working with the worst of the worst. I was not bashing how the new system is, I was saying the popular vote is actually horrendous in long-term. Of course this pole isn't completely accurate but I still just felt that a desire to bring it up.

I planned to add visual aid along with the names but I kept getting cut off because it wouldn't let me post past a certain number of pictures.

  6. I'm pretty sure every video game is mindless clicking (if its pc)

    #realtimestrategygames

    #firstpersonshooter

    #puzzlegames

I think I get the point across.

"disclaimer: # was a joke I am aware you can't click these"

I think the only reason I don't feel what other people do is I am incredibly difficult to bore. That being said yeah I can see why some people hate this. PokeMMO new breeding system is better than the old by a certain margin but it actually might make the game MORE of a nuisance then you think about it... great I finally come to accept it and then this... ANYWAYS all it is is catching the same pokemon over and over and over. After that PAYDAY EVERYDAY which I don't actually think is very fun. I personally don't like seeing thousands of ditto if I'm not EV grinding. Untradeable shinies as tournament prizes? Who's idea was that?

I personally am not so annoyed but I certainly see the points this thread is making.

On the flip-side you're playing pokemon so you should expect some grinding and if all the items were made cheap enough for a bit of pay-daying to get high-tier items then something about that would imbalanced.

*also to the person who said missions are not realistic you are talking about a game where you can 1. stay underwater undenfinently 2. has 0 competent police officers despite high ciminal activity in neighboring areas 3. exposed electric fences 4. gives potential murdering machines to 10 year olds and younger 5. A kid with under a day of training can topple an adult with years 6. Never have to eat 7. never have to sleep. I will stop myself here*

Edit: I misread that I believe you meant unrealistic in terms that it couldn't be done.

  7. The votes say 99 people want to stop killing parents to breed. 62 say they like it the way it is. 10 people choose the above which is basically the same as saying stop kiling the parents which retotals to 101.

Well majority rules in other places but this system without killing the parents? If the old system caused inflation problems then this one without killing parents might as well be giving away free ubers! The economy would basically be completely and utterly decimated with little chance of recovery.

  8. zelda sucks

Well we all have our own opinions.

I don't think a live-action zelda series is a very good idea. *look up the first LoZ cartoon it exists and yes it is not very good it is animated* It would also have to be formulaic as it can be. Link basically does the same thing every time. Changing the landscape massively for all the different games wouldn't be a good idea without some explanation. But at the same time most environments simply are not enough to have a show based in them.  If a show took place in termina the fields would be fairly boring if they were the same as the games representation. Wind-waker has obvious problems *Hoenn dosn't have that much water and sailing dosn't make for entertaining viewing* The first game dosn't have enough characters. The second game dosn't give enough detail on its land.

  9. the old ones got closed because it sparked arguments. Please stop posting these threads

The title anime sucks is not helping in the slightest.

  10. Logic? How can you try to put logic to this game? It has: Giant six finned whales breeding with leek wielding ducks to lay eggs, children allowed to run around the country alone, glass made out of ash, skyscrapers built with no automobiles, caves with ladders conveniently placed everywhere, this thing...honedge_by_xxmunchoxx-d6dnejp.png

They give kids under 5 years of age electric mice capable of incapacitating African elephant *according to pokedex*. Unprotected electric fences stuffed in gyms. Muk. Oak says he spends his whole life studying pokemon but his dex is blank DANGIT OAK WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING THIS WHOLE TIME!?!? *getting off-topic here*

So to make this relevant... I don't hate the new system now.

  11. I have a great idea guys let's go dig through a bunch of 2 month old threads, find one that's blatantly trolling, and bump it for no reason!

This is the problem with how threads are handled *it's my fault for bumping* one guy comments on a thread and suddenly BOOM front page. I'm a bit of a drifter and didn't notice how old the comment was sorry.

  12. saying all anime sucks especially in such an aggresive manor is REALLY pushing it.

Anime covers a wide range of genres and is not all the same. Yes there are some like you described and there are also about a thousand that aren't.

So if I got it right you said characters showing emotion is a bad thing. Tell me how that works? It helps the viewer connect to the character. If they all acted like they had a mask on hiding their face they range from boring to creepy to out-right uncanny.

  13. I can't stand it when my pencils are not razor sharp and are not atleast 4 inches long yeah it's a pet peeve thing.

People laying their feet on my seat *not kicking it just being there* another pet peeve of mine.

Also lucky eggs. Yes that about sums it up. I guess I just can't think of anything else right now cause I like to forget about these scenarios.

  14. Well when I'm basically brain dead I like to brainstorm about a game I might want to make. *but am way to lazy to get around to and if I did I wouldn't know when to stop but I don't know how to code... well darn that just lowered my day a little bit...*

  15. I think the game looks SODDING AWSOME but i've only seen northern lion play and I don't have a good enough PC... This makes Loukenshrew sad.

I'm curious how the game dictates how a character responds to stress. Sometimes they run for the hills "DESERTERS!". Sometimes they go "I AM THE STRONG ONE HERE AND YOU WILL FLEE OR DIE!"

If you haven't heard about this I probably look like I'm rambling insanity here.

  16. Don't give up - I think there is still hope :3
Some just need a bit more time to adapt to it.

I acknowledge that breeding - generally - might not be suited for everybody. But those can continue to buy their pokémon from breeders, as they have done before. Just not below the actual value of the pokémon anymore...

Your money is not "lost", you just added the value to the pokémon you bred.
If you would sell it to an other player, you would get that money back and - if you don't sell too low - also money for your effort.

An example: I recently bred a Jolly natured, 5*31 trapinch from scratch.
Later on, due to an auction of Kyokatsu - who sold a very similar Flygon - I was able to witness that the current market price for it was 1.5m (last offer I saw). So all the money (grind/time, braces, everstones) I invested is currently "bound" to the pokémon I bred, but I could convert it back into cash, if I chose to sell it.

There is no reason to train EVs on a pkmn that you plan to use for breeding.

Man, why are you still that unsatisfied - with fallen prices for braces (though many of us have anticipated that), gender selection and higher trainer payouts?
Furthermore, many other players have made an effort to ease breeding for new players, most notably Gilan with his very useful breeding guide or also DaBeardedLady by pointing out what a fortune one could make with trainer battles.

I have one simple question for you: May you tell me, what you have bred so far and how it was going / where the main difficulties were? Thanks in advance.

Ok two things to say. Ev training on a pokemon i have worked with for a long time. Plus I want to train my poemon up before breeding so I would know their IVs. A side effect being EVs. I rarely catch a pokemon simply to breed it and usually only think about it a bit after I caught it.

And I will admit I have a personal reason to hate the system: I am way to freaking generous and give away alot of pokemon for free. There have been exceptions but its in my nature to do these things. So I feel a bit like I'm being attacked by this new system but then again numerous "rare" pokemon are sort of the problem.

I no longer hate the system and I see why it exists. I admit I am wrong and this system is an upgrade.

Team building gains you no money though. I look at it from a team builders prospective there. Not quite as profitable.

I said that the gain was not worth the money. I am not so certain on this statement anymore. I retract my argument.

Well that was alot more than two things. But I think the new system is probably for the best now *no clue how you guys keep getting such great pokemon though. Maybe my luck just isn't up to par*
