@lgh I personally think the little design for the Clamperl is adorable, but the hat sprite does need some work to match. @Kickern That's so true, because I borrowed a Youmu sprite to make the character... he he. I was wanting comment on the weapon anyway, if you like the Scythe then I'll be happy to keep that and edit the rest. As for Wingull, that Pelipper sprite would work pretty well in my opinion. As for Wingulls' face, any suggestions? Wingull is supposed to be little with little eyes and making it any larger kind of distorts the character. But, I'll have another try. @CW Sorry for commenting so late. I like your design on Shuppet but I think that maybe we can change the posture and have her kneeling so she would match the original Pokemon's triangle like shape. Also, her eyes should be more eerie and ghost like. As of now, I can't tell who she is. But the clothes are really cool. @Alphernal :) It takes a lot of time, energy, and creativity to make and design each sprite. Constructive feedback and helpful encouragement goes a long way in keeping up our spirits. :wub: Sometimes it's not always easy to know where or how to move forward on a particular sprite, so we work on others to continue growing our skills and to express our creative thought. I agree that we all should finish the sprites we've begun, but that's not easy. :blink: I don't know anyone who likes making back sprites. Ha ha. :P Don't be shy and have a try at helping us. I'm more then willing to let you have a try at editing or fixing some of my sprite designs. After all, I've only just started making sprites about a month ago. ^_^

@CW Thanks! ^_^ I think she's really cute, too. So I will go ahead and make the full sprite sheet. Then people can have an alternative option. One of my favorite Pokemon of all time was Scyther, even though its attacks aren't the best. I just thought Scyther was so cool! I mean, come one... a raptor with blades for arms is pretty scary! So, I wanted to remake the Scyther sprite to something a bit more terrifying. "My Angel of Death!" #123 Scyther She was inspired by the following artwork. I might revisit the dress, socks, and shoes to make her look more like the following picture.

@CW, @Kickern, & @GetRekdm8 Hooray for collaboration! I don't feel like the posture and clothes of my sprite captures the spirit of Banette, where as the clothes and posture of CW's does. I'll try working on the legs, face, and hair to science the two together. However, we could totally reuse my sprite for another Moemon... I'm just not sure which one. Any ideas? I'm liking Mewtwo so far but... wouldn't Mewtwo's legs be colliding? Shouldn't the right one be pointed out a little bit? Here is my newest creation: #278 Wingull EDIT: So sorry! I didn't see that someone had already made a super cute Wingull... I might reuse my sprite as a Whismer.

@CW How is this for a few edits to your WIP? I'm thinking the hair might have to go the other direction to match the hat. Also, version one is with the Banette doll and version two is without. #354 Banette

I made an attempt at Banette... I'm not sure I like it yet. I might try again tomorrow. I don't know, but I'm just not feeling super inspired recently. #354 Banette

I redesigned laGashetaHardcore's #079 Slowpoke and added a backsprite. I think the tail looks better coming from inside the skirt versus outside. #079 Slowpoke @Kickern I was trying to make the backsprite more active so I lifted the right-hand. But, I could put it down and run the sleeve directly down. It just looks so boring when I do that. I love the shinny palette, thanks! :wub: @Septentrion Latios needs so more darker shading in the face and hair to make it seem more natural. But, progress is looking good and I like what I see developing. Maybe less purple in the pants and more deep gray. Also, you could soften the black to a slightly lighter shade so it's not so pronounced. @GetRekdm8 The Poliwhirl family is done, isn't it? I've still got to go back and fix up the Abra family. I also want to go back and redesign Weezing. We should start compiling all of the new sprites we've done with shinny palettes and backsprites. I'll try to put mine all together soon. ;)

@Septentrion I agree that the sideways backsprite looks better but that's going to be a lot of work to fix them all. :blink: What do you all think of my new Slowbro redesign? I just wish I could change the name to "Slowlass." :wub: #080 - Slowbro

@CW What's the name of your spriting app? Just finished edits on the Torchic Evo-Line. I edited CW's Torchic by making the feather headpiece smaller. On Combusken: I added some shading to the shirt, flames to the skirt, new eyes, new mouth, and new hair design. Plus I added a new feather headpiece. For Blaziken: did various edits to make the position seem more natural. Hopefully, she should look like she is leaning towards the player. Might come back later and try a few more touch-ups. Just finished my leading lady: "#257 - Blaziken" Still needs some refinement. But the rough sketch is coming along nicely! I really went wild with this one. I just felt like the current Blaziken was too hippie and not enough fight. This version still needs some work on the hair, but I've done all I can do for today.

All you need is the "Pokemon Advanced Sprite Position Editor" and the "Advanced Pokemon Sprite Editor" programs. They are super easy to use and you can swap them out. Just load up the programs, load up your Fire Red rom, and then import any 256Wx64H png/bmp moemon collection of front, back, and shiny sprites into your rom. Write to the rom, check the position with the "Pokemon Advanced Sprite Position Editor" to make sure it's not out of place, save, and then you're ready to play! @Moetal & CW I like the top version of Ivysaur with the slightly shorter dress. Looks good. What about replacing the boots with dress shoes to match her fancy dress? @Moetal Shoulder addition looks good but I agree that the right eye looks strange. Maybe it should be a solid black vertical and more snake like? Any thoughts on Grovyle?
