Don't know if they are there, obtainable hidden ones. I think there are, but that's what I will figure out.
Update:
I figured it out. 42 Pokémon are hidden, 40 non-obtainable and are listed by @Toupi.
The 2 other hidden ones are "Mewtwo" & "Rayquaza". They are not listed because they are obtainable.
The 3th Pokémon with "Catch but not keep"-mechanics is "Zekrom". He is not hidden on the Pokédex.
So no list needed other than Toupi's.

Hidden pokes, that can be found in the wild or revealed by breeding. Think there are more hidden pokes out there than NPC's battles will reveal. Can be wrong though.

Still missing a lot of numbers on my dex. I will take some time to make a number/name list of hidden pokes that not have been mentioned here in Toupi's list.

I don't have Linux, but there should be a mod folder. All .mod files can be placed there.

It's changed now it is Rare now. But some rare Pokémon like Pansear are almost to be called (uncommon) but some Pokémon like Larvesta are still a pain in the ass to find.

Good point, didn't think about that. I have fiberglass 300mbit up and down. But at the other hand, if you have a little more patients and wait a few minutes longer and play the game while it downloads...

I don't know how the client uses the mods. If fully loading at startup, loading would take longer at Ultra compression. (Might be noticeable at slower pc's). If data is picked-up along the way the client might uses more of the pc resources. (What client crashes, hangtime, ect.).
And why compress to Ultra, mods are not that big (if compared to the B/W rom)....
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The forum has a searchfuntion. And the reason why I said it like that is that you are person number .. something asking the same.
