  1. You should be allowed to temporarily borrow an individuals pokemon in different intervals such as 1 battle or maybe even 5 battles. Or until the trainer wants the pokemon back. Time limits could work also. Once the time is up the pokemon could be transported back into the party if there is needed space if not it can be sent to the available pokemon box. Just thought it would be a nice idea.

  4. [Suggestion] Challenge Mode This is a pretty simple suggestion, introduce the "Challenge Mode" (Higher trainers pokémon level, better AI, etc) from Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. But instead, you can choose this before you start the game, and well, for people that has ended the game, just ask them which mode would they want. (For example, for the people that beats the Elite Four.)
  5. WIlderness like idea : I think that in the end state of this project you should implement a PvP area. I know that you already can PVP in almost any location but what I am suggesting is that in this area you cannot choose whether or not to fight but just get sent into a fight. In this area you could also have it so that the winning trainer gets XP and maybe a money reward from the other trainer. To keep it from being obnoxious with a 6v6 team you could make an entrance count of maybe 1 or three pokemon per player. Battle Frontier/ Competition like area : In this area you could make it similar to how the battle frontier went where you battle trainer to advance to the next one. If enough people went to it you could have a similar situation but it could be player vs player. It really isn't a battle frontier more like a pokemon stadium or pokemon online feel expect you have pokemon you trained and your trainer can get a prize for winning the competition. This idea could be done with or without XP. This could give the game an extra layer of fun. I probably left a lot of things out and I'm sure the ideas I've given could be improved on but I think either of these ideas would be smart moves.
  6. Pokemon center usage counter. In nuzlocks people want to know how many times they have used a Poke center definitely Youtubers. Even though I am not one I've heard Youtubers make comments like. I wish I could show you how many times I have use a Poke center but I can't so just trust me. After the y do a training sesh and you see their Pokemon raise up like from 25 ---> 30.

Received Pokemon like Eevee, Lapras, Hitmonchan, HItmonlee, and game corner Pokemon be lvl 5 This helps since the earlier you get a Pokemon the easier it is to customize it's more set since you level it up and choose it's moves instead of them being chose for you when handed at lvl 13, 25, and 30 (if I remember correctly). Now people may complain saying at this point in the game those are the levels you need, but you receive exp. share near this point in time and it lets you chose the growth and path that you want that Pokemon to take. Also it makes the achievement of using so much better knowing you raised a level 5 after you beat the first three or 4 gym's to level 40 before the E4. Oh the accomplishment. Added:\ Still thinking about it that this also gives an emphasis on that this late on you should catch Pokemon not get it for free. Free Pokemon should be good but harder to use. After reading I guess it is pointless in the ways I originally thought but now thinking about it they should do it this way to make free Pokemon harder to use as a way for paying for the fact that you didn't catch it. Also why wasn't the game coded to where if you train a Pokemon at it's lowest possible level it would be the strongest making breeding a must for competitive play and rewarding a player for taking the time to level up a Pokemon from such a low level.
  8. I Have an idea for the future!... We know regions will be added in the soon So why not take control of a region! Kanto Region: Lets say All the Adm's and Gm's host a tournament where the best of the best teams fight to own the Kanto region. Where if you enter the region a message comes up saying that for example: Cobalt Knights [CMjr] Reign over the Kanto region Leader: Officers: Members: Including that their Team Tag glows with a certain color so people know they own the region There are simple rules such as if they want to keep there place in the world of pokemon they have to stay the champion of the region so if next tournament the title for Kanto region is up for grabs... So if 6 teams wish to own Kanto they have to compete against each other and when there i one left they must fight the Reigning Champions! Now this is just and idea but it would make the Competitive world alittle more exciting There are rumors and talk of the Hoenn Region being added as well as the Johto (Sometime soon) But just imagine your team being noticed for owning a Region I could see this being a great way to show how strong your team is and that you can hold your own in the world of PokeMMO In my opinion this is an awesome idea. :D Thanks for the support!   9. For those of you who don't know, a grab bag booth is basically a place where mystery prizes are sold, usually inside of paper bags. For example, you buy one for $2 and you could get anything from a $.25 plastic toy to a $15 gift card or something - prizes change depending on the price the booth charges for bags. How this would work in Pokemmo: Players can buy a bag (or possibly a TM grab bag, item grab bag, pokemon grab bag, and so on) and receive a random TM/item/Pokemon. Drop rates could be adjusted for rarer stuff. By charging an arm and a leg for it (say, $100,000 pokedollars or something) it could be an effective moneysink, and could also bring some value to money. Players could get fossil pokemon and eevees and such from grab bags, but could also get magikarps and caterpies and crap like that. Could also be a way to implement legendaries at obscenely low rates in the future, but I don't want to start an argument so I'll ignore that for now. Could also award a random TM/item, or have TM/item grab bags available for a different price than pokemon grab bags. If you flame this thread, I will post in comic sans on all of your threads
  10. Well like the title said, this is my suggestion: You are given the option to 'mark' a Pokemon after you capture them like how it is depicted in the image below. [img]http://i.imgur.com/QPKeRM2.jpg[/img] This would be helpful because when you are farming for Pokemon and you found one/many which has potential, you can 'mark' them and then it will be easier to find them when you are searching through your boxes.   11. Simple suggestion: Make a hotkey to release Pokémon in the PC Boxes. Ctrl+rightclick releases the Pokémon or something. Shouldn't be that hard to implement? Oh and make a checkbox in the PC (or in 'Option's) so people won't accidentally release their shiny or 'God IV'd' Pokémon. [b]Note[/b]: Yes similair things have been suggested before, (release at catch) but you probably can script bots to stat-check and then release it, if the IV's are bad. If you find a good IV'd+natured Pokémon just run back to your PC and set it apart from the rest so you won't wipe it.   13. Competitive Battling is starting to become big here on PokeMMO, but, we still do not have an official ranking system. I'm here to suggest a complete ranking system which will be used for all players and maybe even in the future, teams. To implement this ranking system, I would need complete compliance with the staff in using this ranking system, as it involves the forums heavily. The good thing is that no work has to be done on the server itself, allowing for the coders to work on more important aspects of the game itself. So, I introduce to you.... "The PokeMMO Trainer's League" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Registration: To begin, all trainers who wish to battle competitively must be registered on the forums. This will allow the tracking of users' wins and losses much more efficiently. All trainers will begin in "F-Class". This is the lowest class in the ranking system seen here: There are two different ways to increase your ranking within the "Basic Classes", these are seen here: Win 3 consecutive battles against trainers of same class Win 1 battle against a higher ranked trainer To organize a ranked battle, trainer must use the following method(s): Posting a Notice on the "Competitive Alley" Sub-forum that you are looking for challengers Replying to another trainers posting Also, trainers who lose 3 consecutive battles will also rank down in class if they're higher than F-Class. All battles must be reported to the "Competitive Alley" sub-forum, for them to count as a victory for the trainer to Rank up. Also Video Recording or taking pictures of your battle is highly recommended so that any disputes or complaints can be argued with evidence. The implementation of video recordings and pictures also allows new trainers to see what battling in the league is like! Player's can only reach "C-class" based on wins alone. To be entered into the advanced classes of B, A, and Special-A, you must have participated in a total of 50 battles while you are currently in C-class. To advance from B>A>Special-A, players will have to use the following methods: Win five (5) consecutive battles against trainers of same class Win ten (10) consecutive battles against trainers of the class immediately below you Defeat a trainer who is ranked higher than you ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "PokeMMO Player's League Championship" There is a reason why trainers aspire to become at least "B-Class". Those who are, and ranked higher, are eligible to enter in the biggest tournament of the year, with Pokemon, and potentially money up for grabs. The tournament would be open to any and all who are "B-Class" and above. There will be rules/guidelines, but those would be detailed at a later time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Having an official ranking system would be beneficial for the game, and the players as a whole. It would allow tournaments to run efficiently and smoothly, while creating a pro-active competitive scene with set-goals in mind. Any questions? Post here.
  14. Perhaps there should be a place of recorded tournaments and within that place is a hallway displaying statues (or trophy's) of the victors. Bring a little history to land of pokemmo eh? Perhaps a breakdown of how the making of the game started and within it is the credits of the people of brought forward the game to the players.
