Show your support in growing our team. Members will gain a point for every new team mate they recruit during the month. You can also gain points by participating in events throughout the month. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Char....mander Dude, Where's My Car? This will be a running event to find a certain pokemon based off a riddle, then show them to Urchint. A new riddle will be released every day, and the old one will be removed. Each correct guess scores a point. This will be a week long event and will end after riddle seven. Riddle #1 - Here under the moon as you fall asleep, you look into the sky and wonder what it could reap. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TEAM TOURNAMENT Base Set LVL50 4v4 - Original 150 only! August 16th 10pm EDT - Location: Three Island Ch8 Announcing our second team tournament! This will be a 4v4 standard comp, based on the first 150 pokemon. Each participant will battle against their fellow team members with lvl 50 pokemon from the original 150 only. -Rules and Regulations- Standard Tournament Clauses [spoiler] Sleep Clause: You may only put one of your opponent's pokemon to sleep at a time (using moves like Spore, Sleep Powder, Hypnosis, Yawn, Sing, Grasswhistle and Lovely Kiss). This means that if you put one of your opponent's pokemon to sleep and they switch out, then you cannot put another of their pokemon to sleep until the previous pokemon wakes up (either naturally, by Aromatherapy/Heal Bell or the ability Natural Cure [not yet implemented]). If an opponent uses Rest to put their own pokemon to sleep, it does not count and you are still allowed to put another pokemon to sleep. Putting multiple of your opponent's pokemon to sleep from the use of indirect means such as Magic Coat/Secret Power (in tall grass) or the abilities Synchronize and Effect Spore [both not yet implemented] also do not count towards sleep clause. Evasion Clause: Moves that raise evasion (such as Double Team and Minimize) are banned from use. Sweet Scent, which lowers your opponent's evasion is fine as well as abilities that may raise evasion like Sand Veil. Also raising/lowering accuracy (using moves such as Sand Attack and Smokecsreen) are perfectly legal. You can reset your accuracy by switching, but that won't reset your opponent's evasion. OHKO Clause: Moves that are one-hit knock out moves (Fissure, Horn Drill, Guillotine and Sheer Cold) are banned. Evasion and OHKO are often banned together and it's simply called DTOHKO Clause. Species Clause: You cannot have two pokemon with the same national pokedex number (ie you can have a Charmeleon and Charizard on the same team, but not two Charizards). Bag Item Clause: You cannot use any items at all from your bag. Pristine Clause: Your pokemon must come into battle fully healed as if you used a pokemon center just before the battle. This is mainly to prevent people bringing poisoned pokemon with Guts in to battle, giving them immediate attack boost as well as immediately being immune to status effects. [/spoiler] -Additional Clauses- [spoiler] Self-KO Clause: If you faint your opponent's last Pokemon with a move that also faints your own last pokemon (from moves such as Explosion, Selfdestruct, Perish Song and Destiny Bond) you lose that game by default even though the chat will display you as the winner (can be checked if both players get sent to the pokemon centre after battle). Item Clause: Each pokemon on your team must hold different hold items (having multiple pokemon not holding an item does not break Item Clause). Have Fun! - We are all ultimately playing this game for the love and joy of playing pokemon, and we aim to have fun doing so. 2. Helping Others! - Here at THCd we enjoy to help other people, whether it be other team members or simply people needing help in-game, we will do what we can to help. 3. Competitive Play! - We don't ask all are members to be a part of competitive play, but we strive to enter the comp brackets and become well known. We will help any members that desire to get into comp play in any and all ways we can. 4 (20). Get High! - While we can't help you with any such goals, we will be here to crack jokes and make smiles while your sailing high in the sky. A family that blaze together, stays together! ;) RECRUITMENT Team High Crown is currently recruiting members of different levels. Are only requirement is that you are an active player, and are willing to help others when you can. Also English language is a must, though it doesn't need to be your primary language, we ask that anyone considering joining be able to speak it fluently. So to new players, we are here to help you learn the ropes; and to seasoned players, we would be happy to have you in are comp bracket or simply just enjoying the game with us. We accept all walks of life, and we do not discriminate. POKEMON RESCUE Here at THCd we offer our members a pokemon rescue to help new players find companions in I need of a new home. We are also working on a comp rescue section to help are players get into competitive play more easily. This list is made and updated to the best of my ability as often as possible, though our comp list will be strictly on a personal basis and must be asked about to ascertain.
