With the new patch notes also came the dreaded 'bug fix' of the EV reducing berries. If a friend of mine needs a, for example, Dodrio with Return for his match in 5 minutes, I can not give it to him. Because I carry Return and gaining happiness on level 50 is now impossible in a short timeframe. Even if it's not needed in a short timeframe it's still far to much work (don't even think about Return Banette). This new bug fix discourages trading and sharing Pokémon with Return (which is a very commonly used move), and isn't that the whole point in a MMO? What I have to do to get the happiness of a traded lvl50 Pokémon to 100%: - Walk with it (ALOT) - Feed it vitamins and THEN reducing it and THEN again adjust the EVs - (alternative) reduce it's EVs, then re-EV it, then reduce them again and repeat the proces (requires Amnesia) All of this, isn't called inconvenience anymore, it's downright fucked up. Sharing Pokémon with Return now is just impossible, not only will your friend have to get it's happiness to 100% again but when he trades it back YOU have to do the same. So yea, simple solution, a new type of berry the: 'Glee Berry' as in extreme happiness. - Raises the happiness of your Pokémon by 5% - Costs 10k Pokédollars (or more w/e) Alternative names can be: the 'Cheer Berry (looks alot like Cheri though), and the 'Nice Berry' (huehuehue), or something else :)
