Hey guys I wanted to know why I am getting 38 fps on my laptop and 450 fps on pc ?

PC: i3 4th Gen 8 GB DDR3 Ram Radeon HD 5830 (Giving me 450 constant FPS)

Laptop Dell G5 : i7 8th Gen 16 GB DDR4 Ram, GTX 1050 Ti (Giving me 38 FPS)

Im using same settings on both devices. PC gameplay is lag free and smooth, laptop gameplay so laggy.

Don't tell me drivers outdated etc.. Because I play GTA 5 on ultra settings on this laptop and get 50-70 Constant FPS.

Also make sure you have enabled a decent enough FPS limit in your settings (Sorry for the different language, but I assume you will find the way.)

When you just boot your laptop, and play the game, does it run well but then starts slowing down ? If so it may be cause of the heat, laptops fans are usually not that performant, try cleaning it from any dust in the inside, it's preferable that you only plug in the charger if the laptop is already at full charge so that it uses it as the main power supply, charging the laptop and playing games makes it reach a high level of heat, thus lowering its performance.

If the game starts in mediocre speed even when the laptop is in a cold temperature and not plugged in charge, that might have to do with some settings, First guess would be to update your Opengl drivers, are you using a save energy profile in your laptop? If so try using the standard profile.

If none of this helped, maybe upload your log and see if a staff member can assist you with your situation.

(NB; the game runs smoothly in Android sevices, maybe give it a try. )

Edit: Try also lowering sprites scaling, and the resolution, it will definitely help run it faster )

Oh my power plan was set to auto decide for programs and for some weird reason when I run PokeMMO it was putting laptop on Power Saving Mode, that's why Even if I was running with GTX 1050 Ti, I was not working.

Also yes my laptop so much heat up :( I regret buying this laptop wish I bought a PC instead.

Anyways with all the setting you guys told me I did and I am getting 250 Fps :P I want to ask is this something to do with AMD and Nvidia ? 12 years old AMD card giving 450 FPS, a laptop with 3X better specs and Nvidia 1050 Ti giving 200-250 max.
