jurekito
Hey, people, I hope you're all doing all right these days. So I'm new to the Pokémon gaming world -- when I was a child the cartoon was the only contact that I had with the franchise , since then, I've always liked Pokémon related stuff -- so I'm a bit inexperienced about almost everything, the only game I had played was PoGo. Anyway, cutting to the chase, I decided to finally try the classic Pokémon games and why not start with the online experience? I'm loving PokeMMO but it has some differences compared to the classic Fire Red and I'm having a hard time figuring it out how to use the Itemfinder here, because if I'm not mistaken on the classic one when you find some burried item you just dig it whereas on pokemmo my character just keep jumping all the time when I find the location of burried items, what am I missing here, is a poke skill that I'm lacking? I'm playing on Kanto region. Thanks in advance :) Link to comment
Lacei
You need to interact with the tile while you are facing it, not on top of it. I understand the confusion, I actually did the exact same when I started, too. If you move one tile away from the tile you are jumping on in any direction and then face your character towards it and press your use key, you should get the item. Hope this helps, glad to hear you are enjoying PokeMMO. BIackRook and jurekito 1 1 Link to comment
jurekito
Yeah, "problem" solved hahahah, perhaps these items isn't much but I like to explore and clean areas up. Thanks again :D Lacei 1 Link to comment

Thanks again :D Some Items that you get from that method are worth it, some are not. For example, the items used to change Hidden Power's typing that are untradeable aren't really useful besides the move tutor, while the Arceus Plates in Sinnoh, all the valuable items such as Nuggets and pearls and the Free Life orb that you can find in Sinnoh's Post game are all valuable Link to comment
