Rigamorty
As someone who hosts a tournament for a team, I feel that more than one person should be allowed access to edit a topic in forums. For example: Jindu, Nebula and I are hosting a tournament together, so I would want the two of them to be able to edit my post if necessary (in case say the OP were unable to get online, and a bracket need to be posted, one of them could do it) This could also be useful in a case of when people like to share a trade thread. I don't know how difficult this may be to implement, but I know CM's and such are allowed to edit posts, so I figured something like this may be possible. Tl;dr: Let the original poster of a thread allow certain people to edit the original post Link to comment
iSmashbro
Staff can edit posts alongside you, and anyone else would lead to massive "HE HIJACKED MY TOPIC" messages flooding the staff's inboxes. -1 Link to comment
Atlas
I think that this is a good idea because you would be able to designate who would be allowed to edit the original post and you wouldn't choose random people who could mess up your post. Link to comment
Drapht
It wont work. Unless your an Admin you can't give anyone the ability to edit posts. But if your creating threads and may need others to edit them, why not just get them to reserve a post under OP for any updates? Jag 1 Link to comment
