[Mr]Turtle Shiny Journey

It all begun in January 2015. Even tho i was in mmo since 2013 my shiny journey started in january 2015 few days after Hoenn launched. With old hatching mechanics when u had to flag certain move in order to hatch an egg. Ofcourse when i was hatching my comp beldum i had to find this little Zigzagoon dude (who i love dearly regardless of circumstances) :

Next step for me was to join shiny focused team. The year was 2016 and the choice was obvious. Team Mr became my home!
With that out of the way year 2016 and introduction of horde system brought me Shiny Spinarak and Golbat which were shortly followed by single encounter Shiny Smeargle:

2017 was a funny one cause i found 4 Shinies and 3 of them were single encounters that had horde spots. Thats how Shiny Whismur, Numel, Taillow and Psyduck joined my collection.

With all these fairly common Shinys i knew i had to step up my game next year. So thats what i did in 2018. Even tho this year was pretty dry it was a big one as i managed to find single encounter swarm Shiny Skitty.

Unfortunately 2019 was pretty dry and only thing that i managed to grab was a Shiny Swadloon while attempting to find a Zorua

Then 2020 happened. What can i say It was a year of a Turtle... Haunter, Squirle, Sandshrew & Torkoal joined the gang.

2021 was alot calmer with 3 still great shinies Gligar, Zangoose & Golbat

I had to make a comeback. So thats exactly what i did in 2022 starting it with finding single encounter Shiny Scyther followed by Weavile, Parasect, fossil Tirouga, Weezing, Stunky & Cottonee.

For 2023 bar was extremly high... so i did what a true Mr does. Wooper, Duskull, Venipede, 6 phases of 50% odds Onix, followed by 2x31 Atk Speed Adamant Larvitar, Dratini, 1st phase Shroomish, Tauros, Graveler & Teddiursa. Yea a crazy one

Here we are in 2024. Honestly I'm pretty sure 2023 is going to be a hard one to beat but so far we are on track to at least make it a good one. In Mr we have a joke that picking me in War Draft is equal to throwing a war as my teams lost 6/6 of them. During a Safari bonus day everyone was going crazy with charms. People were doing them alone just to get that extra 5%. So obviously the only points we scored that day was my Safari Shiny Psyduck found with no charm or donator. (ofc my team once again lost the war.) This was my 1st safari shiny and im pretty sure the last one as this beast took 3 balls to catch making sure i remember why i dont enter safari. War ended and i went back to making eggs. Thats how another turtle joined my collection. Totaly unexpected, once again under the odds Shiny Lapras hatched as if it was nothing.
