A study on PB

One of the best ways to save money is to use the other currency we have in the game, battle points.

So I thought, how could I best use my 100,000 battle points? I went to my nearest PB store to speculate on these items.

Let me show you my study:
We can separate the items into those worth 100, 4800, 6400, 9800 (there are more, but they are not worthy of study), and then there are the kings, the bands.

I discarded items as I saw fit because I wasn't going to investigate the price of the battery.

To determine the value, divide the price in the GTL by the price in BP.

The bands will always be worth either 10,000 money or 750 BP. If we do the division, we find that each BP would be worth 13.33 money. Is there any item that exceeds this? Let's find out.

Items worth 100.

White herb -> 11,95

Air Ballon -> 13,4 

Focus Sash -> 11,99

 

Selling Air Ballon is more profitable than buying bands.

 

Items worth 4800.

Leftovers -> 5,2 (xd)

Wide Lens -> 2,88(xdd)

 

Neither is profitable.

 

Items worth 6400.

Life Orb -> 11,72

Toxic Orb -> 12,73

Flame Orb -> 1,56 (Lol)

Rocky Helmet -> 9,57

 

Neither is profitable.

 

Items worth 9800.

Choice Band -> 11,22

Choice Scarf -> 10,71

Choice Specs -> 11,73

Eviolite -> 11,22

Assault Vest -> 11,73

 

Neither is profitable.

 

I started this thread to make a humorous gag about spending the 100,000 on bands and then realizing they are non-tradable, but I'm surprised that the Air ballon is actually a bit more profitable hahaha. Well, now, in my attempt to make a gag, I'm going to endure a flood of hate from the 3 or 4 Air ballon sellers in the game.

 

But come at me, league farmers, lowering the price of the balloon gives me power B)
