Mousechint
This was something I did a year ago. I kinda fell in and out of playing the ocarina, but I'm back into it now. Waiting on some recording equipment to get "Project: Gen One" off the ground after its hiatus. Hope you guys like it :) [flash=300,300]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-jpZtQLqL4[/flash] 2 ocarinas and my voice were used to create this track. The choir effect was achieved by keeping the mic in one position and recording the vocals 5 or 6 times over, standing in different spots each time. The process was then repeated while singing in falsetto to try and get 'female' voices going. I had to make the male voice predominant because the falsettos sounded so bad lol. The ocarinas used were a Pacchioni C1 and a Pacchioni TriplaP* in C. There was a lot of processing involved, obviously. I used a detune effect along with oodles of reverb and delay. Aaaand ofcourse cheesy thunder sound effect. Because it must rain in Lavender Town. It's like the Kanto equivalent of London. Gloomy as all hell. Major major major thanks to SergeantDragon (who is a fellow ocarinist, pokenerd and good friend) for suggesting changes and keeping the track less boring than it was in the first draft. His channel is http://www.youtube.com/user/subakuryu He's a far better ocarinist than I am, so if you like what you hear, check him out! Asakano and AzizFTW 2 Link to comment
