Email Change

I think there should be an email change option for a PokeMMO account. This is in case if somebody forgot their email linked to the account (rarely happens) or they mis-typed their email when they registered. This is just my thought, so leave what you think below.

This is highly unlikely to happen due to security reasons. If someone were to gain access to your account with such an option they could change the email address on it leaving you locked out for good.

I don't think "highly unlikely" is quite right. There are countless other games and websites with this feature that all work quite well. Besides, if someone has your password and would even have a reason to change your email, they very likely have already stolen anything of value you might have. There's really no reason to try getting that account back apart from the storyline progress or your friends list. Minor inconveniences more than anything, really.

Depending on who gets control of your account. Think of a malicious person with an axe to grind. Not only will they likely steal everything of value, but just for good measure, they could permanently lock you out of your account. We already do not discuss registration emails with users as that poses a massive security issue in being able to verify that we are talking to the person who actually created the account. Adding this feature would make it all that much easier for malicious players to steal accounts and permanently prevent players from accessing their characters. This is not a minor inconvenience by any stretch of the imagination, this is a major inconvenience. A player could potentially lose 3 characters in one fell swoop.

Maybe add a security system? Like security questions.
