The Reverse Nuzlocke PvP in PokeMMO injects a unique twist into the traditional Nuzlocke challenge, focusing on catching and battling with a strategic layer. Preparation Team Size : 6 Pokemon Slot Catching Restrictions : First encounter only per route. Specific Poke Ball types only. Players are only allowed to catch Pokemons using either Pokeballs, Greatballs, Ultraballs and Netballs. Shiny Clause (allows capturing a shiny Pokemon even if it wasn't the first encounter). If you encounter a shiny but it wasn't your first encounter, you can still catch and use that shiny for the Tournament. Time Limit : Players will have a total of 30 minutes to catch and prepare their team. No EV or Evolution : Players are not allowed to manipulate their pokemon's evs and evolve the pokemon that they caught. They can however make their pokemons hold items such as choice items and berries but not limited to. No Moveset Manipulation : Players may not change their caught pokemon's moveset. What you catch is what you get. No Catching the Alpha Tyranitar on Mt Silver T_T Self Explanatory. No Alpha Swarms or Legendaries This is to keep the event balance and fun for everyone and to encourage players to catch wild pokemon and have a balanced but enjoyable game. Gameplay Starting the Preparation: All teams begin with empty teams other than their Catching Pokemon. Encountering Pokemon: When a player encounters a wild Pokemon, they have two options: Catch: Attempt to catch the Pokemon using any allowed Poke Balls. A successfully caught Pokemon becomes part of the player's team. Pass: The player forgoes catching the Pokemon, moves unto the next route to encounter their next one. Team Management: Players strategically decide which Pokemon to use in battle based on the encountered Pokemon's type, moveset, and their current team composition. Type Clause : Players are not allowed to have two of the same typings (eg. Two Water Types) on their teams. This encourages players to be creative on their team building and be flexible on their strategies as well. Winning Condition : Last Player Standing.
