Date Saturday, 22nd February 2025 Time 8:00 PM (Philippine Time) Location Route 3, Kanto, Channel 5 (Catching is allowed on any channel) Mechanics There will be 5 total rounds for this catching event. At the start of each round, the host will announce the required pokemon with a specific nature (e.g. Adamant Pidgey). The first 5 players per round to link a valid entry in the team chat gets corresponding points. The player with the highest total number of points at the end of 5 rounds wins. Only the correct nature on the correct pokemon matters. IVs are not important for the main event, though there will be special prizes for highest and lowest IV. Duration 5 total rounds. Each round ends when 5 valid entries have been submitted. The end of the 5th round also marks the end of the catching event. Scoring Per round - 1st: 3 points; 2nd: 2 points; 3rd, 4th, 5th: 1 point Total number of points at the end of 5 rounds will determine the winners! Rules Players can enter the event with only one account/character. All Pokémon must be caught within the event time and at the event location. You must be the OT of the Pokémon. This is a first to link event. An earlier catch time does not guarantee a higher score if you failed to link it in the team chat before other people do. All Pokémon caught during the event are valid if it becomes the required one on later rounds. For example, if you caught a Bashful Rattata on Round 1, and it is then later announced on Round 5 that a Bashful Rattata is the requirement, then the one you caught earlier will be accepted (as long as you are quick to link it). If there are tied scores by the end of round 5, an extra round will be held to determine final placements. Use of Synchronize is allowed. Only one entry for highest/lowest IV can be submitted. At the end of the event, 10 minutes will be allotted for you to whisper your entry to any participating team leader. You may submit early but you will no longer be allowed to change entries after. In the event of a tie for the special prizes, the winner will be determined by earliest catch time. The Reverse Nuzlocke PvP in PokeMMO injects a unique twist into the traditional Nuzlocke challenge, focusing on catching and battling with a strategic layer. Preparation Team Size : 6 Pokemon Slot Catching Restrictions : First encounter only per route. Specific Poke Ball types only. Players are only allowed to catch Pokemons using either Pokeballs, Greatballs, Ultraballs and Netballs. Shiny Clause (allows capturing a shiny Pokemon even if it wasn't the first encounter). If you encounter a shiny but it wasn't your first encounter, you can still catch and use that shiny for the Tournament. Time Limit : Players will have a total of 30 minutes to catch and prepare their team. No EV or Evolution : Players are not allowed to manipulate their pokemon's evs and evolve the pokemon that they caught. They can however make their pokemons hold items such as choice items and berries but not limited to. No Moveset Manipulation : Players may not change their caught pokemon's moveset.
