  1. Actually.... Ok so with a living and growing economy, external factors (like a change of mechanics and rarity) in this game are something that happen. I get that you're mad but dude, stuff like this happens a lot and it makes sense. A free market always involves risk, it's a literal characteristic of one. I lost hella money when premier balls went down from 1m to like 1k, and stuff like this will keep happening on non-limited stuff. Also, have you tried gym grinding? It's not that hard to make a mil lol. Takes just over an hour even if all you do is a gym run and breed a couple comps to sell.
  2. Since you clearly don't know what you're talking about and are just angry, here's some math (thanks Takens): This might help you see the benefits of the update. Also, amulet coins are very easy to find in the wild.
  3. I love people who complain despite not having played that long. Changes happen, it's a living and growing economy and there will be external factors with updates and new items/mechanics that cause changes in them, as well as changes in supply (Premier balls were 1m when I got into PvP, then deflation happened and they went down to 500k, look at them now) will change things in the market. They're more widely available and are more useful than before. In fact, they're items I can actually see more people regularly using. Nothing about an unregulated market can be counted on to stay the same, and outside nudges keep it from destabilizing :3 also I'd say their usefulness as an item is more important than the value they hold in the market due to supply and demand, cause those always change. Also, look at this post and tell me how the amulet coin is worse:

  5. They're cheap on GTL and in the wild too. As fair as it would be to have the timer only active during battle, it'd make postgame grinding wayyy too easy. Except in Unova, then it'd just be tolerable xD

I currently like the new Amulet Coin mechanic because Amulet Coins are not only cheap to get off the GTL but also easily obtainable from wild Meowth/Persian, and it increases the payout compared to the old one.   7. P2W is when you can get stuff in game by using real currency that lets you gain an unfair advantage over players who don't spend money on the game. So I don't see how that applies here in any way. I mean people have also met two shinies in two back to back single encounters and caught both, 3 shinies in the same day, 2 in the same horde etc. So you're saying after you catch/run from a shiny, as in, encounter it, you're likely to find another one or aren't likely to find another one? Sounds pretty random to me. No, no they didn't. I mean they did like 4 or 5 years ago (and even then they said it was a VERY temporary softban while they were investigated) but then they said they fixed that and that wasn't the case anymore, not even that long after. And whether the devs lie about shiny chances or not (they're not, most people with lots of shinies average to around 30k), it's still fair. Cause SRIF. Though I'd be down to test this out. Run away from every shiny I meet hell yeah
  12. P.S. sometimes it bugs out and battle logs only show the exp gained from one Pokemon instead of both (or all 5 in a horde), but don't worry if that happens, it's just a visual glitch, your Pokemon still gains the full exp yield from the battle.

Lol I can't wait, Darkrai's implementation being discussed will be better than Togekiss :D I'm okay with it being implemented since Dark Void is 50% now, its base stats are pretty good but we've got similar in the OU metagame already (idk anything about the dubs meta) so it'd be an interesting discussion.
  15. Yeah I'd rather have certain legendaries without their hidden abilities than not get them at all. I feel like legendary pokemon might get released all at once when they're ready given that they'd all most likely end up in Ubers if they were released one by one as you said. The discussion behind HA Pokemon would be between the staff and TC but I'd really appreciate the community's input being asked once you have a topic of discussion set up. But with which legendaries would be usable and which would break the game in PvP (and by extension, PvE grinds), I'd really appreciate the discussion being public right off the bat. You're only a few people and as good as you might be at your jobs, there are always going to be other points of view and some of them might end up being very valid. Plus you guys have tons of time to discuss all this between yourselves before dungeons are probably going out to PTS and/or launch. Also, have you thought about starting Darkrai out in NU? Ez.
  16. I vote we lock the thread cause it's very obvious OP's only responses to valid arguments, reasons etc. are insults and calling people "childish" and "boot-lickers". Besides, why leave this open anyway? We're all already aware that non-overpowered legendaries will be coming into the game someday and why they weren't implemented the normal way. Besides, what else is there to be said other than the points already made? Also, props to everyone who actually didn't troll and took the effort to read OP's points and attempt to thoroughly explain things to them, especially Xela. Level 1s are banned from matchmaking and tourneys for that reason duh
  17. Outrage and Knock off were never buffed. So Outrage has a base power of 90 and Knock Off has a base power of 20. Nothing was changed, those were the only two moves that weren't updated to gen 7 mechanics for balancing purposes iirc.
  18. ^please. I'm sorry if this isn't considered relevant input but please open up a discussion with players before deciding what's Uber and what isn't. Both in the case of HAs and Legendaries.

  20. Level cap is the best way to do it! Especially for monotype runs ^_^ Use hordes to level your pokemon, it'd be the fastest way, especially the Victory Road hordes before the league. Good luck!
  21. You can design and post them here: People do that a lot and the good ones usually end up being implemented! I'd love to see more hair items than the ones that already exist on GTL and the gift shop. There's a template on that thread too btw. Look at the pinned post on top.
  22. Uh what? It rains a lot in tropical climates, not in deserts. They're both classified as "warm". Does it rain a lot in Australia, which is a warm place but in neither of those classifications? Hoenn is a desert region.
  23. wut? Like where? In the battle screen? Can you check the battle logs (battle chat)? Do you have screenshots? Are you using a battlesprite mod?
