Randoms
Randoms is a 6v6 matchmaking game mode which allows players to battle with randomized parties.
Species from Generations 1 - 3 are currently available. Species availability will be expanded in future updates.
This game mode is enabled after Badge 4 for matchmaking and dueling.
General
Vanity items now show metadata related to their release. This can include which year they were released in, exclusivity, or where to find them now
Trainers in Kanto & Hoenn now have improved rematch parties to better align with gameplay from more recent regions
Abilities
Added the Pickup battle ability effect
This ability allows its user to pickup an item from a random adjacent foe or ally if they used an item this turn.
Pickup may retrieve items which are consumed, like Red Card, Eject Button, Focus Sash, and Berries if they haven't already been recovered. It will not recover items which are unrecoverable, like Air Balloon or Incinerated berries.
Miscellaneous
Players can now control the zoom level of the camera. This option is accessible in the Settings menu
Added Healing Wish to Mr. Mime's egg moves
Mysterious Gem crafting can now create multiple stacks at a time (Processing up to 99 Mysterious Gems at a time)
Name Change Tickets can now have their availability checked before purchase
Sinnoh's berry plots now function as berry plots
Player render limits now function properly in GBA regions
Players may now sign up with battle box teams if they're in a partially completed region, if they meet the minimum badge requirement in at least one region.
Previously, if a player attempted to sign up for a tournament after having completed one region, but before they met the badge requirements in their current region, they couldn't sign up even if they had a valid party available
Balancing
Razor Fang, Quick Claw, Focus Band, and King's Rock will now broadcast their presence when swapping in. Typed Gem creation has been rescaled Mysterious Gems will now create double the Gems, but Hidden Power modifications will now cost double. If the final party members in a battle faint due to Rocky Helmet retaliation damage, the attacker is now the winner (previously, the defender would be). Repels now work normally in the Safari Zone Heal Powder's sell price has been reduced from $450 -> $400

Hello.
All moderators, Sethsen included are following the general guideline of SGM+ regarding the moderation of chat. Our Game Masters do the same, and we often discuss matters to ensure we are providing the best management of the game. We always aim to improve of course, hence why if any of the players feel like he is muted/treated unfairly can always message any of SGMs, and we will gladly investigate the case, later informing the player what was done incorrectly.
However, since you claim that our moderator "uses the excuse of political correctness to perpetuate horrible stereotypes" I will gladly remind you that your mute was made for, quoting: "Chigga = Chino + Nigga (busquen el meme) XD". We understand memes, but they don't belong here if they might insult any player- and yours did. Don't use that word here please. The reason for the mute being "Conducta Inapropiado (Racial slur)" should also tell you what punishment was for.
That's being said, please read the rules of our game: https://pokemmo.eu/code_of_conduct/ and https://pokemmo.eu/tos/, especially the part about the rules related to chat.
Needleless to say, we will not fire the moderator in question due to this case. If any player feels unfairly muted, they can feel free to message me or another SGM. Don't do it, if you aim to lie about your mute in order to get someone fired.

Well guys, about damn time. 17.5 months ago I began breeding shittos+ 80% eevee 20% other rares, about 4 boxes a day at least with several depression breaks in between. I cant even type rn im so god damn happy. Started December 9th 2019 and here we finally are. Ty game<3 #eeveeofthelake

For players who challenge gyms and npc to earn a paltry pennies there is nothing but punishments in each update. The amulet coin will increase in price and will also be more difficult to obtain, that is hit to the face of the one who spends hours farming gyms

At the moment, we're looking to introduce a Randoms mode for PvP. @Rache is the primary designer of that. As well, I'd like to see what we can do to encourage more NU/UU play, through rewards or other means.
We haven't pegged the scope of that patch yet, so it'll probably feature creep into more items.
He doesn't use the forums but is still active in development.

Klaym reacted to Kyu in Are the devs still alive?We're all fine. Covid's made life difficult for everyone, so work suffers because of that. I personally took a month off after CNY as I got married and moved house, but I'm sure nobody cares about that.
We've had a lot of trouble keeping up with the population growth of the game this past year, so a lot of development time has been dedicated to improving toolage for the GMs & support staff. Players don't see that though. It's a balancing act trying to devote time to those types of things and actual gameplay.
We're currently planning on a bug fix patch to address some ugly gameplay warts, then afterwards a small gameplay patch for PvP improvements. I'm not sure how long the latter is scheduled to take, so we'll see. Afterwards, it'll depend on how ambitious we're feeling.

Shinies caught with this charm can have a double star icon plus a cooler particle effect, for the flex. I swear it's a great idea, really, think about it. (To clear it up: half of 1/30k is 1/60k)

It had already halved in price in the recent years since I joined the game from 12k to 6k (for stones) to a now very stable value of 3k that doesn't even increase during event time (when the farmers are supposedly not farming stones anymore and farming the event instead), as it did in the previous years.
There's 2 solutions : either too many people are ready to farm everstones in a regular basis even tho that activity isn't worth it OR people are botting or found a glitch to multiply items to farm everstones ? How could shards also be down to 1k to 3k max, these items take so much time to farm compared to the value they are given

As you can tell by the title I have recently been working on a UI Redesign Concept for PokeMMO. I have a lot of previous graphic design experience, and one of the fields I enjoy working on the most is GUI design. I really enjoy PokeMMO, however at times I feel that the UI can be frustrating to navigate, and although the current UI does fit with the game pretty well. I feel like it could be a lot more modernized, clean and generally more optimized for ease of access and better appearance, which is what I have attempted to do here.
I first thought about making a theme, however after looking into it and reading some forum posts I realized that it would restrict a lot of what I was hoping to change, so I decided to make a full-blown concept instead for a new more engaging and pleasing UI.
I would like to clarify that this is NOT a theme/mod
It is only a concept and at the moment there is no way to FULLY implement this into the game. I am considering making a theme or possibly a mod that allows for the complete changes and additions I have made to be included properly, however that would take some time and research so I decided to get some feedback from the community first.
Below are some of the screenshots of the concept UI as well as comparisons (mine on the left) with the current UI being used in the game. (I am in no way criticizing the current UI) however I do believe some things could be changed and optimized for a more user-friendly clean experience. The current UI does an amazing job at sticking with the classic retro Pokémon look, but in my opinion PokeMMO is growing into a more vast and complex game that incorporates the classic feeling of the original Pokémon games and also that of an amazing MMO and believe the UI should also branch towards that.
Feel free to look through the screenshots, the UI is not fully completed and a lot of things are still in the works, (such as a Login Screen, Store Menu, Breeding Menu and more.)

I should also say that the concept UI at the moment uses a blue accent, but I would make this user-customizable for a range of colors (including dark). I am also considering on making a webpage of sorts that will showcase the full UI and allow users to interact with it as they would in game, this would help showcase the changes I have made behind the scenes along with animations and any new updates I make, let me know if that's something you would be interested in.

I'm Majieu, and I've been playing Pokemon on and off since the dawn of Pokemon... Really enjoy it. Been on MMO for about a week now.
Most recently I sunk over 500 hours into Gen 7 and did a bit of competitive. Breeding mons is so satisfying, but I just couldn't jump in on all the Gen 8 shenanigans... And I have little hope they will fix Gen 9...
So I am here! I hope we can be here for a long enough time.. Big up and mad props to the dev (devs?) for hacking this beautiful masterpiece. I doubt they will read this but wow, thank you. A lot of what broke the main games is mostly fixed here from my experience so far..
I understand how breeding in MMO works and how to use the GTL... But I would definitely welcome some tips or "good to know"'s! Hook a brother up.
Hope to bump when I'm battle ready. Positive vibes.

But it would be an extremely boring and meaningless edition overall because we can already catch everything. So people are going to be finished in 10 or less hours with the region and guess what they are going to do? Go on forums and complain about the lack of content.
No I think Johto is very low priority and if it gets implemented it has to be with or after a big endgame content update.
