  1. Inflation is 100% vital to any functioning economy, real or virtual. The rate can be problematic, but that's a separate issue Completely false, especially through the GTL the 10% deflationary pressure, which will now dominate the economy, will only serve to diminish the economy and disincentivize trading. Why bother buying now when your money will be worth more in the future? Regardless there is absolutely zero reason they could not have given a few days notice.
  2. If you're botting that many alts the loss of a single crop would probably be insignificant. The GTL is no more or less proper than selling to an NPC. And who's to say they won't insta-butcher the GTL with auction fee changes without notice at some point in the future?
  3. What part of that is harmed by telling the players beforehand? All it causes is a 1M universal kick in the teeth, that only "hurt"s new players.
  4. I'd say most customers, in any industry, should be entitled to prior notice before a drastic change in service. It's not like it would have had any detriment, the bots after all are going to be the number one profiters of the deflation that comes from this.
  5. The idea is to remove methods for new players to make money encouraging cash purchases to sell on the GTL.
  6. It'd be nice if they gave some notice before radically changing the economy. With the butchering of berries combined with the maintenance probably killing my current batch and having just bought a lucky egg there's really no point in me playing any more.
