Pokemon Emerald has several trainers who are facing each other but not fighting together, just 1 in 1. It could change that to speed up the game a bit, as you can't set the speed to 2x or skip the animations. it's a bit agonizing. The images are 4 examples of what I said in just one city, imagine the others.
