So, it's not news to anyone that cosmetics exist, some cosmetics can be custom colors, and the gift shop sells dyes to change the color of items after they've already been bought. However, while these dyes are fairly inexpensive, and are good for one-time blunders (you may have picked the wrong color on accident when buying, or you received an event-only item off the GTL and need to change the color once), if you're someone who frequently likes to dress up your character in different ways, it's really expensive to have to re-dye the same items multiple times, and even worse to try and buy multiple of the item in different colors. In addition, the dyes available are only a third of the colors available to you when you're buying the item, so you don't even have access to all of the colors you might want to use. That's why I thought of a new idea - "Polychromatic Dye". This would be a one-time use item, just like regular dyes, that you could apply to an item. However, instead of immediately changing the color, it gives the player the ability to re-access the color picker screen for that item unlimited times, but only for that one item. I'd imagine this dye would be much more expensive than regular dyes, for obvious reasons, but I don't know what would be a fair price (Maybe suggestions in the comments?). This would fix the issue of players not being able to access the full range of colors when dying their items, and would provide cosmetic-obsessed players an option that would be cheaper long-term without getting rid of the use for the one-off dyes we currently have for the cosmetic casuals.
