[i]After being away over christmas I was very surprised (and happy) when I found out about the new customization system that is currently in place. All the colors, hairs and hats really lifted my spirits up, since now I knew that the game was no longer just a train-fight-battle simulator (well, technically it still is, but you see my point here. It's all shiny and cool now). I had already looked around the forum at the different GUIs and IPSs, and I had planned to do one of my own, but then my direction changed. The customization system has so much potential, and I am not letting that go to waste! So may I present to you the...[/i] [center][size=5][size=7]Mannequin Mk. 1[/size][/size][/center] [center][size=1](Implying there will be several. There won't)[/size][/center] [center][img]http://i.imgur.com/Tk5aIhi.png[/img][/center] This is is the ground base for every single player character in PokeMMO, and thus every players "Adam and Eve". If you just add some hair, eyes and clothes, this "mannequin" could become any regular player in the game. Since I have no skills whatsoever in java or anything code-wise, this spritesheet was made by screenshots and personal imagination. In fact, only the middle sprite facing forwards is the only one that I did not manipulate in any way. Don't worry though; I'm quite confident this matches the ingame spritesheet just fine. The reason I release this on the forum? Because I want you to make customization items for PokeMMO! The customization system has so much potential, and letting the community tap into it a bit would be in my opinion something that would greatly enhance the game! Of course I am in no position to make any decisions whether things should be implemented or not, but look at the Steam Workshop for an example. Players have contributed with a lot of content to games like TF2, Dota 2, Skyrim etc etc. So why not make our own version here? Now here is a side suggestion, because I like to keep things organized and I'd rather not make a separate thread (considering just the mannequin is a bit too little of a content itself). Don't worry though. The mannequin is in it all [size=5][u]Wearable Items[/u][/size] Whenever you walk around in the Pokemon world, you just can't help to collect items around on the ground. That's a fact. Of course you will sell some of the random things you find, yet due to your amazing infinite backpack you will always keep a couple of items "just in case". So how about getting a use out of those items? That's why I propose the wearable items idea. Just go to the selected NPC, turn in a certain amount of item and get a vanity item! Of course this comes with a fee, but yeah. Due to the large amount of different items in the world of Pokemon, I'm sure there could be plenty of trades this way. Leftovers could become an apple-hat, EXP. Share could provide a way to show your nerdyness, or just prove you're so badass that you waste your Lucky Egg on a vanity item. Now onto the sprites themselves! A few of these were my own (made up in a haste because I am a busy man), some were ripped off NPC characters and others are for the Wearable Item idea.
