Weapons that don't immunitize you to friendly flinching (such as lances and sword'n'shield) you might as well give up on using on a quest if there is more than one Longsword user on the quest, or you will spend 90% of the quest getting up from being tripped.

[/quote]Monster Hunter Portable 3rd was released in Japan after Tri on PSP (or Vita, can't recall) and was later ported to PS3.

What I meant is, the Monster Hunter Tri used special codes unique to the character you create in the game as opposed to the Wii's friend code system. I imagine MH3U will use a similar system that is independent of the Wii U's own friend mechanism.

It's inititally region locked, but there will be free DLC released in April that opens the region lock between EU/AU and the US. We should play some time, Cass.

Monster Hunter Tri for the Wii is easily one of the best games I've ever played. It also scored 40/40 in Famitsu. This is sort of an updated port. And by updated, I mean it has like 500% the content Tri had. If you do pick it up, write your friend code or whatever in here so we can hunt online at some point. Although, I'm from the EU and play between EU and US only becomes available as free DLC sometime in April.

But how does the transfer system understand that? Is it based on my IP? So that the IP from which the transfer originates is also the one that gets the RP when it logs into the PokeMMO client?

How do you bind the money transfer to a specific account when buying Reward Points? I was gonna buy some today but I didn't seem to find anything like that and so I hesitate to do so.

Yo guys, this is Kuma here. Been playing for some sort of month and using the forum for somewhat shorter duration.My pokemon history started when I was, I dunno, 10 years old? I was in a toy store looking at videogames and I saw this awesome GameBoy case on which was the print of an amazing red dragon and I knew I just had to have it. I didn't actually know what pokemon was, but DAT DRAGON! This was right around the time Pokemon was released in Denmark and it took a further, I think 4ish months before it actually became popular. However, my English capabilities at the time were something resembling non-existent. When Professor Oak told me to go pick a Pokemon I had no idea what the hell he was saying and for some reason I couldn't figure out how to click on the huge balls on the table, so for MONTHS I was stuck in Prof. Oak's tiny upper lab not understanding what to do. Yes, months. I don't know how either. But then other people started playing it and I was helped further. And that's the beginning of the greatest adventure of my life. [que pokemon gameplay montage with morality boosting pokemon theme music] After that I played every generation, including a lot of the side games, until generation four which is the last I've played as of now. The physical/special split was too much for me. I had to restructure everything I knew about the game, and it just wasn't something I was prepared to spend the time doing at that stage in my life. Though I would like to play gen five now. Might get Black 2. Anyway, when my friends tipped me off that there was an online MMO for gen 3 I became estatic and just had to join. And you know what, even if this ever goes to gen 4, that's alright. I'm not gonna rage. It's too awesome. Anyway, something more personal about me, I'm now twentythree years old and a university student. I'm studying Japanese and religious studies. As a hobby I'm a complete filmbuff to the extend that it becomes dangerous to my economy and sanity. Especially Japanese films are totally awesome, and um, stuff? Yeah. That is like totally me and stuff. I have a chronic inability to keep myself short, so if you actually read all that crap, then good for me and good for you and good for Baby Jesus. Are Unown appearances completely random and completely identical in all caves in the MMO? I seem to be encountering certain ones in chambers they shouldn't be appearing in?

The timestamp on the pokemon I catch are based on my own time zone (GMT+1), which means that a pokemon caught at 5 pm EST will read 11 pm on my timestamp. I don't know if this changes depending on your own time zone or if any pokemon I catch at that time will read 11 pm on everyone's computer.

I don't think I understand this. How will a silouette be shown in global chat?

I'm awful at this, 5 pm EST would be 11 pm GMT+1, yes?
