Music mod on mac?

Me and my friends made a mod that switches some of the sinnoh tracks into something else. I followed every step described in this forum and it works for me, for one of them, but not for the iMac user. It's a normal music mod that uses normal .mp3 music files, Tried to change from .zip to .mod and nothing, tried to change compression method from store (which works for 2 of us) to normal, and nothing happens, it loads the mod but it doesn't work. What can I do?
