Which Pokémon do you find is best to give away as a freebie and where/how do you catch them in large quantities? Gastly, Lavender Tower. Vulpix/Growlithe, Cinnabar Mansion. Staryu/Horsea, fish off Pallet or Cinnabar. High Tier (strong, good Pokemon for in-game): Abra, Mankey, Cubone, Clefairy, Diglett, Machop, Nidoran-M Middle Tier (decent Pokemon for in-game): Bellsprout, Doduo, Electabuzz, Exeggcute, Geodude, Magnemite, Nidoran-F, Oddish, Pikachu, Slowpoke, Spearow, Tentacool, Voltorb ^tier info from smogon @Mford: Hi there, very nice of you to join. I was catching some Pikachu and I notice they don't even have an electric attack, lmao. Voltorb appears to be more helpful against Misty. @Ryudo: I haven't used a Great/Ultra ball yet for the fire types. What I do is use Dragon Rage to get them at half health, then I throw a Poke Ball. It works 90% of the time. Night Shade, Seismic Toss, Sonicboom, Thunder Wave, and Spore are all good moves to use for catching Pokemon too. @Deshar: I can definitely see a compiled list of easy-to-catch freebies happening or appearing on the opening post. As for the players who take one freebie too many... Sadly this does happen sometimes. If someone keeps sending you trade requests after they got too many, you should remind them politely that you've traded with them like Jellything said or fly to another city. I see you're forming a blacklist, haha. @Jellything: Good suggestions! I haven't thought about doing the "show this and get x" but it seems neat. Trivia also seems fun. I'm noticing the new Channel tab in the mmo's shoutbox but I'm not sure how to work it... I hope we can announce events without having to use Global. @AsmaClementine: Welcome! How noble of you to give away freebies when you're still pretty early in the game. You could donate the Sandshrew to someone else here and ask them to distribute free Sandshrew in Pewter, Viridian, etc. Or, you can plow through the game until you reach Fuchsia / get HM 02 Fly so you can reach earlier towns. Oh and I encourage everyone to add each other if they haven't. It's always nice to see someone pop online and start a conversation with them. :) Makes the mansion less lonely! -pokes Ryudo-

Thanks blakFYR, it's always nice to hear support. :) I caught at least 10 Growlithe/Vulpix today, but I'll only have time to give them out Thursday or later. If anyone has some free time then, we can do giveaways together. :D

Here's what I think we can do: have a level 50 tournament with 8, 16, or 32 members (Helping Hand members and other players welcome) somewhere pleasant (little traffic and big enough to hold all of us.. Uh...). The winner of the tournament gets to pick 1 of the 5 and keep it. The runner-up of the tournament can have a 3vs3 battle against Ryudo, who will be using the donated Pokemon. If the runner-up wins this battle, he/she gets to pick 1 of the 4 and keep it. List of locations I'm brainstorming for tourney lol. Cinnabar: First room of Pokemon Mansion (preferred area) Vermilion: Area right of Pokemon Center, next to Machop (preferred area) Mt Moon: In front of Pokemon Center Rock Tunnel: In front of Pokemon Center Celadon: In front of the department store Idk just depends on how far everyone is in the game! The remaining 3 donated Pokemon can be given away through Hide and Seek (we will ask a CM if we can use Global Chat for it). Ryudo, Olli, and I will hide with 1 donated Pokemon each and give it to the first person who finds our hiding spot.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forums. I've been playing the MMO for a few days now. I've been a Pokemon fan since the RBY days. I'm still playing Pokemon and looking forward to BW2. I also like music (YOUNG THE GIANT<3), anime, Photoshop, forums, looking at pics of puppies and kittens on imgur, um... I'm not good at these intro things. xD
