You can't trade starter Pokémon until they are level 50. Welcome aboard, I'm new here as well. Good luck on obtaining your shiny arcanine. While I'm not experienced enough to give you any proper advice, I believe obtaining and trading Lucky Eggs for a shiny growlithe is your best shot judging from what I've seen going on in the trade chat.

Just like everyone else here, I enjoyed Pokémon when I was younger (elementary school). I had Red, Yellow, Gold, Crystal, and Sapphire growing up and I watched the original anime that aired before the movie. Interest waned after Sapphire and I didn't return to Pokémon until snagging a copy of Red for $2. Then, when a suitemate of mine (yup, college student) found PokéMMO, he, a mutual friend, and I hopped on board. We've already dumped about fifty hours into the game in about a week. I figured since I've been enjoying the game so much I thought I'd jump on the forums. My typical party is (in no particular order): [list] [*]Blastoise: Level 51 or Gyrarados: Level 57 [*]Charizard: Level 58 [*]Dragonite: Level 55 [*]Gengar: Level 62 [*]Raichu: Level 60 [*]Tyranitar: Level 63 [/list] Definitely nothing impressive. I remember loving Gengar when I was younger. I used to have a plush Gengar and plan on eBaying one soon. I also loved Togepi and had a plush of it as well. I know there is not one in the game now, will it be implemented? From what I understand, this game is only in its beta version? If so, impressive work so far. Will other regions be implemented? I guess in general I'm curious of what direction the developers plan on taking the MMO. I also find it pretty interesting they use the games ROMs, I guess to pull information out of. I imagine this will become pretty popular and will eventually need more unique features added to it. Sorry if I'm asking redundant questions, I haven't browsed the forum yet and haven't talked much in-game; just been playing. Other interests include: retro gaming (mainly the NES), metal (all genres, I prefer Finnish metal for the most part), and programming (what I'm studying in college).
