Anything, any thing at all, that remotely resembles Pay to Play or Pay to Win is a horrible suggestion. EDIT: Synchronize: A Gen III mechanic that is available to all players equally. Its true this, nor my edit of making it an event, will ever get implemented, but I thought we were all discussing it anyway? I think a week of greyscaled Pokemon wouldn't piss off any shiny collectors. We could even reskin shinies into something less-grey and more freaky.

I think, if anything, this can easily be implemented as an event. For example, next Halloween everyone's pokemon will be greyscale'd until the end of the event.

Why do we have to celebrate Christmas? What about Chanukah? Perhaps Wailord and Chandelure to celebrate the oil that made the candles last seven days. For that matter, how about Kwanzaa? Plusle + Minun for Umoja. Smeargle for Kuumba. Gardevoir for Imani. What about the Pagans who celebrate the Solstice? Sneasels?

EDIT: The fact that we're going to add regions, pokemon, etc. from other generations doesn't "stray too far" from the original design, so your point is irrelevant. I don't know what group or thought process you think I'm biased towards, but I have posted plenty of insane suggestions and I am entitled to my opinion. Let's say you want to farm Moon Stones, which at level 41-50 have a 30% chance to be picked up. All lower levels are 10% or less, and all higher don't pick them up. What you'd want, ideally, is to get 6 Meowth to level 41, go to Route 1, kill a Pidgey/Rattata and then check your party for items. You dequip any found items and repeat the process until you get the amount of Moon Stones you want.

The map isn't from the ROM, the tiles are. They made the maps by hand.

Ehhh that seems like a lot of work. I'm just suggesting changing three tiles. Giving that middle building a back entrance would still mean two loading screens, which would be slower than going around.

I'm for dropping potions, full heals and X-attack, but assuming TMs will eventually be renewable, I wouldn't want to flood pickup with too many.

Those trees are what started this, but I didn't want to turn this into a "MAKECUT PERMNANT" thread and a 1-tile stair in the ledge outside the PC would be nice. Along with a pathway through the bushes/fence - even if its where the trees were.
