Congratulations with the Team Tournament Victory guys. Happy birthday to JSTUD and Goldeneyes. As a new 'reward' for the Team Tournament winners, I've come up with the idea to let a member of that team design the new poster of the Team Tournament event for the following month. The person creating the poster has artistic freedom, within the bounds of the appropriate. If this seems like a good idea, I'm looking forward to receiving a pm / whisper from your artist. If you don't like this idea, I will just get the poster design somewhere else ofcourse, there is no pressure at all. Yo

Steelix, Careful Kangaskhan, Sassy Porygon2, Umbreon seem to work well as well. CB Swellow almost always guarantees a revengekill.

Thanks for the feedback PandaJJ Uniqueness of a format does not mean that it should be prioritized over other tiers. What I'd like to do with Team Tournament is change things up monthly. For example in September, Doubles can come back and take the UU position in the tournament. I believe an arrangement like this, if communicated to the community beforehand, will make the Team Tournament more dynamic and interesting each month.

Basically the Tier Council is doing their job, I don't appreciate the implications that we aren't because it is not true. We don't continuously have to tweak with the tier, because that would also be stunting the growth of the tier as well. The Chansey suspect test ban, is working great. The tier is looking better than before. The way it currently is looking, Chansey will remain banned from UU after the 6 tournament test. So what happens next month, will depend on the usage, sure Porygon2 and Umbreon (and Quagsire) might be moved up to OU, but so be it. Perhaps there will be some pokemon who drop down to UU. The UU meta will adapt to that change when it is time for it to change. I feel like the slow approach is working better than the rushed approach, so I see no reason to change it. With this post I'll be finishing this discussion, your points will be adressed in a Tier Council meeting. From now on I'd like it if this thread was used for it's purpose, to Request a UU Discussion.

Neither Umbreon nor Porygon2 is problematic in the UU tier at the moment. The increase in usage of those two pokemon is due to the Snorlax and Blissey ban. Instead of saying 2 months (as is policy) I could try and see if we can base it around the amount of tournaments instead. But please don't exaggerate the effect of having two OU pokemon in UU, as they aren't breaking anything in UU. We knew this was going to happen eventually, hence there is a policy for situations like this. edit: My previous statement of one and a half month is wrong, it's closer to one month.

There's still a month and a half before we're making any changes to UU as a result of usage in OU.

This is indeed the most effective way to hunt Everstones. The optimal way would be to breed a Quagsire with eggmove Recover (from Corsola) and Damp nature, teach it Thief. Bring some Leppa Berries to restore Thief and Recover PP while in the cave. Make sure you clear the held item every time you get a find a new one, so that you can keep thieving. The Team Tournament is the largest monthly tournament, with three different tiers being played at once and with 48 players (24) matches going on at the same time, this is a lot of work for the refs and host. We need to organise the position of the battles across the area, get the players to lign line up according to the tiers on time, check for every battle if the correct clauses are selected, take usage stats of each battle, keep track of individual wins to see when a team has won 2 matches,... Disabling the Baton Pass clause manually, would add yet something else to track, which I'd rather not, because as you can see we have enough things to keep track of as it is. Surely it would be better for the Doubles meta to have Baton Pass available, but I'd rather have a smooth tournament without that, than a rocky tournament with issues everywhere as a result of enabling it. Hopefully with the next update, this won't be an issue.

So I'm proposing 2.30pm EST, if Fred is able to quickly summarize his idea on Chansey in this thread before then, we can take that into account as well.
