I like this idea. And each player could have a shop they can customize (a la Secret Base), which would be accessed by a door. But then that would change the "Trading Plaza" to the "Trading Hallway" so people just run along til they find the shop they're after. Or better yet, an elevator, where they type a player's name instead of choosing a floor number to access the shop. The elevator idea would involve adding an extra elevator to Silph Co (or some equally large apartment/department style building) and having that unlock after people have defeated Team Rocket in Silph Co.

It's as tedious to update as a bad-word filter, and would only be updated as often as people find new ways to say WTT or LF, which would be extremely close to never. When it's a constant issue that is what happens, yes, but it isn't a huge constant issue. It's a quality-of-life thing that just keeps things cleaner. Would you rather be muted for accidentally posting a trade once, or would you rather have your trade automatically posted to the Trade chatroom? Xavier, there are some people who just plainly ignore me when I correct them and keep reposting in Channel. There are no mods, staff, etc around and no matter how many other people tell them to piss off they keep posting anyway. Look, I know it's not something that happens very often but it's just a bit of housekeeping to prevent mess from occurring in the first place. Is that so bad?

Like what? And if that happens then simply expand the criteria every now and then from WTT and LF to whatever the new lingo is.

I'm not sure if it bugs anyone else, but when someone posts a message regarding Pokemon trades in a chat like Channel or Global, it bugs the crap out of me. So I was thinking, why not just automatically change where people send those messages? It would be like the /whisper command when you manually type /whisper (playername) "message", where it changes to a Whisper when you start typing "message" If someone has WTT or LF in their message, it automatically changes from whatever chatroom they're in to Trade, and their message then gets sent like normal. It's a little thing that would help keep other chatrooms clean of trade-spammers, and prevents people from accidentally posting trades in other chatrooms.
