  1. Oh my god.

    Funny work story incoming.

So, at my work, sales reps manage like 30 different banking centers in regards to a particular product. The bankers at the center send in referrals to the sales rep for clients to call. The sales rep calls the client, and hopefully sells them on a product. Usually, whenever a deal is closed by the sales rep, they'll send out a congratulatory email to the banking center who referred it, sometimes including a picture or meme in it as well.

Sooooooooooo, on Monday, one of our reps got a deal closed from a banking center. He goes to send out a congratulatory email to that center, which is comprised of five semi-elderly women. No men. In the email, he meant to include this picture:

INSTEAD, HE SENT THIS PICTURE TO THEM:

  2. Your point wasn't about health, it was about fat acceptance being a thing. So what is your point? Is it about fat acceptance being a thing or is it about health? You can't just change the point of the discussion when someone brings up points you don't like.

My point is that you should stop judging people based on how they look. You know nothing about their lifestyle or if they are doing anything about it. Just because a person looks unhealthy that doesn't mean that they are.

tl;dr Everyone should just be accepted for their appearance. We all look the same when we're dead and buried anyways.

Healthy people aren't fat. Regardless of what any acceptance trend wants to tell you, they're not.
