I encountered my first shiny (Diglett) back in 2012, at around 100 hours but accidentally killed it EV training. But I caught my first shiny (Trapinch) last year, at around 1200 hours (I think it was 1237 to be exact). Then I found a second one (Shellder) at around 1300 hours, a few months after.

I miss the old forums. Even though I rarely used it.

I probably wouldn't hate the berry farming too much if they had left the berry store in, and also cut the times down. If I wanted to spend real-world hours on farming, I'd just go renew my Runescape membership.

I think I got my shiny Trapinch at around 1,200 hours, then my Shellder around 200 hours after that.

Can't stumpeon the Trumpeon.

Gonna chime in anyways... I wanted my first OT shiny catch to be a Beldum. Didn't happen. Got Trapinch instead.

Basically, I had a Gengar named NightShade. Gengar is my favorite pokemon, and NightShade was the best Nickname I ever came up with. I look at it, its name was reverted to Gengar. I try to change it back to NightShade, it says "The requested nickname is not permitted" This is legit the most frustrated I've been, and I've been through a lot on this game.

Seriously, just why? I know that some pokemon nicknames are just obscene or overly offensive, but how is NightShade obscene or offensive? Someone answer me this, I really need to know...I'm very miffed about this because you guys literally took away the best nickname of my favorite pokemon.

Santa's gonna come back next year with an army of robo santas to take over Hoenn and Kanto, and we're going to be to blame because we helped him get the parts.
