I feel like the amount of ingame hours u have doesnt matter at all, shiny rate its 1/8k+ encounters not 1/x amount of ingame hours. Me and a friend have been shiny hunting for 2 weeks and we both have found 2 shinys so far so its completely possible to find shinys if u really try enough

lmao i just found my second shiny with donator :DDD i could have been a ariados/mawile/sableye but no it had to be a fuckin golbat XD anyway this is my third OT shiny, second since im on the team and my second OT shiny zubat/golbat gg

i dont think shiny breeding is worth it since u already lose a shiny when doing it and cheapest shiny in game is at least 500k
