@Kickern At this point i am more surprised that you ask me why, ignoring the skirt, which still wouldnt count since some countrys have males with skirts, everything else look very boyish, is pretty flat, if you replace the skirt with short pants thats totally male clothes, the haircut is easily unisex. (even tho you change the face, it look too forced, i dont think it work with him, the previous face fit him more but is a boy...) Also the colors are too rough, i know you guys said it need more work, but currently it dont fit Moemon style, even the older flygon sprites have smooth colors. I repeat, i like that pixelart, but should be used for something else... Anyway i get the direct answers, ill stop making moemon, it was fun while it lasted.

well my real problem with rache's flygon is that, is a boy, i know he used this as base https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/ed/43/cf/ed43cfb0b3dda0f3834fbbf765db7947.jpg which i like, but the way he made it totally look like a boy, and not a moe boy, just a regular one =/, which is not cute, is rather a very good pixelart, but is not cute, and moemon is supposed to be cute, i have yet to see one sprite that is not cute/kawai in the game, plus is not finished and i dont think that theres a way to make him cute since that flygon look like a cheerful boy. As for the sprite i made, i used as base the last pokemons made by CMagister in order to fit with the current rework style, basically the only thin thing that my sprite have are the arms which i dont think is necesary make them more wide, but maybe i am wrong, also i used the mightyena face size to also follow it, is just covered by the scarf. This would be her arm with the current mightyena size: <- Which actually could work, i think i will add the gloves to this one too and see how it goes.

Here a little bit more progress...seriusly i wouldnt mind if you guys give me a hand xD, i kinda just want to make it look more smooth but i am having a hard time at it. Edit: well...at the original size it look smoother... With red gloves:

Well...is flygon not gumi, i like how gumi look but i dont want flygon to be gumi x.x, is not the point. and i like a lot that deviantart that i used as inspiration, but theres still work to be done in order to make her look like the one in the fan art...

True could be better, but, could you give us some feedback about it? like, what do you think it should be added/changed. I am kinda tempted to be brave and try to make a flygon from scratch and see what happen. (tho if i do that i will probably need someone to help me with the back sprite since that one look harder to make...at least to me for some reason)

Ok then, Hardcore is the original creator? if so, he liked the 2nd option, so there we go, now we have to wait for Moetal and see which one its going to be used in the game, or...if we have to change something else.

I like the first one but the second its good too, i made a in-betwen both so we all could be happy. <-just reduced the hair amount by one pixel and keep the extra hair at the top. but the third...nop, i dont think the third look good, is just too much for her angle.

Oh the second one is perfect, now here is a fix for her hair and ears: <-Because of her angle that much hair at the right side wasnt necesary, i think like this is perfect Yet.... i still think this one -> look way better >.<, pls just let her be mightyena and not Ahri...not all the pokemons are smiling :<

Nice, and well like i said, is always about the style of the creator, just wanted to make her look more like a mightyena http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/es.pokemon/images/7/7c/Mightyena.png/revision/latest?cb=20080910095811 , if you google mightyena, the pokemon always have a mean and wild expresion, and i would like them to feel like the pokemon instead of just dress them like one.

Ya i also speak spanish but i avoy at all cost using my main language in the internet, pretty much because it help me to improve my english, and because i dont want to get used to speak spanish here. Also, it look nice but the face in the back sprite look very weird (like moetal said, is probably the chin), and i would play a bit with the character expresion since that pokemon isnt a pikachu, mightyena is usually more rude and wild, with that face i think its getting ready to catch a stick. here i changed her a little, hope you dont mind, didnt wanted to change her expresion because is your style, but still think that she should be wild and rude. Edit: ok i changed her expresion, idk i am getting addicted to this...i need to stop, anyway, what do you think? i like it or <- Because i noticed that her full picture have long hair at each side so i made it longer to match it

Hmm but the current in game flygon (this ) have a face size of 14x12, the one i edited is 15x12 (see: ) the current one is actually smaller. (also the body is pretty small too)

Ya theres no way to avoy that, she is too popular, and i am not againt it since i like her too. edit: so in order to avoy doble post ill just leave it here: well i managed to fix the ribbon, so there it is, i guess its ready to be used, i will see if i can work in the eyes later. edit: giving some life to the eyes

Ya the face could be better, but compared to the current kyogre which is rather overwhelming and scary(HOLD, i said scary, not ugly, dont get mad x.x), it look good, at least to me, and related to the axe, is true, but then again many nice sprites dont really follow the theme of the pokemon completely but as long it does look good the ppl dont care, also it does give it a epic feeling that make you respect her, so i guess fit a legendary. Either way i can try to remove the axe and see how it look like (Idk who is reimu but i actually wanted to make the big ribbon like kyogre fins, pretty happy with the outcome) also...here is the back sprite: i am not completely happy with the ribbon outcome on that one, but just wanted to show it. (i will keep working on it, and if i remove the axe, i will do it here too) Also here it is with no axe: So since it still look good in the same position i didnt really invest time trying to change it, so you can say she its grabbing her dress and still fit perfectly, either way, i may try to change her eyes which i am pretty sure is the reason why you dont feel good with it.

Here i made one edit to the Kyogre that i liked: <- The one in the top is my edit 1.-Made the head a bit less wide 2.-Changed her expresion so she does have more personality (Kyogre is not exactly a saint, so it does have sense an evil expresion haha) 3.-replace the hair accesory and added a big ribbon looking like Kyogre....fins...hands...? idk how to name them tbh xD, my english dictionaty is not really big since is not my main language. 4.-Changed her haircut with two tails at each side 5.-And last i removed the feets, they were making a lot of noise to my eyes, i think they are not necesary at all since the dress is long enough. And again, yes i know theres another kyogre, but i dont like it, is not cute to me, so i grabbed this one which i think have a good idea and made it more interesting, what do you think? EDIT: Also, what are the chance that we could edit the map sprites? like the Vigoroths in your house when you start the game, i mean it shouldnt be that hard since they look more simple (well everything but kyogre, groudon and rayquaza should be doable)

Hmm, well i can help adding details and fixing some sprites to make them look nicer, but making them from scratch i doubt, i dont trust my drawing skills tbh. I may be able to help with rayquaza, kyogre, latios, latias, theres already some bases that are not bad.

i see that you guys are constantly talking about updated sprites and making new one, so in order to not look useless around here, i did some changes to one of the Flygons inside the sprites list folder that is avaible to download: i didnt liked the current one: (this: ) so i decided to change one, and i like the one i changed over it but could be better, is just that i am not exactly very good with clothes and body in general (i just know how to do fire emblem sprites, like the one in my avatar) but i can do some stuff. The original one that i changed is this: but i think it look like a milf instead, not cute, mostly like a sexy office woman which i dont think is the point.
